MADERA COUNTY – The Madera County Economic Development Commission (MCEDC) has launched a new website, www.maderacountyedc.com, sponsored by Pacific Gas & Electric and designed by Nettra Marketing to enhance marketing efforts promoting the virtues of Madera County.
MCEDC says they are excited to offer a new experience to web visitors designed to give a clear message – “Bring your business to Madera County.”
The website displays all the benefits that businesses gain by locating in Madera County, and is designed to be used as a lead generating tool for the agency. MCEDC has found that in today’s world of technology, many individuals visit their website before contacting their office.
“As a first stop for potential new business we want to make sure our benefits are understood and business prospects are aware that we are here to assist them,” said Bobby Kahn, Executive Director of MCEDC. “We wanted to design a website that will encourage prospects to take the next step and contact us.”
MCEDC added many new features including their most popular web tool which is the Properties Database. The Properties Database has been redesigned and features an interactive map, a property locator for each listing, share buttons for social media and emailing, and an internal tool that will keep property listings current. They also incorporated a calendar to list local events and provide online registration and payment to their annual events.
The website contains a page that displays City and County zoning maps for developers and site selectors to download for planning purposes. A business blog is also hosted on the site to help drive traffic to the website through social media.
Over the years, users have given MCEDC suggestions about how they can improve their website, and they took those suggestions into careful consideration when designing the site. Nettra Marketing, an award winning website design company, took all of their ideas and suggestions and implemented them in a beautifully designed, user friendly website that displays a clear message about the value of bringing business to Madera County.
MCEDC would like to extend their appreciation and sincere thanks to PG&E and Nettra Marketing for their support with this project.
They encourage the community to visit the site at www.maderacountyedc.com and sign up for their monthly newsletter and social media pages.
MCEDC would also like to invite real estate professionals with Madera County commercial or industrial properties to please share their site information with the agency for a free listing on their Properties Database. There is no limit to the amount of sites an individual can submit. It is a free service MCEDC offers to help promote available sites in the county. MCEDC would like to build up as many listings as possible to show a good representation of what is available for potential businesses.
