New Physician Assistant Joins Adventist Health Medical Office

OAKHURST – A new certified physician assistant is caring for children and adults at Adventist Health Medical Office–Oakhurst East.

Hardeep Badyal, or Deepa as she likes to go by, sees patients for immunizations, wellness exams, diabetes, and obstetrics and gynecology.

Her interest in this field developed when she was attending Central High School in Fresno.

“My family had a history of health problems, which made me want to pursue a career where I could educate people and prevent certain health ailments,” she says.

Badyal earned an Associate of Science in Physician Assistant studies from San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, a Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Forensic Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from San Jose State University. She then pursued a Master of Medical Sciences from Saint Francis University in Loretto, Penn. Badyal is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She has over five years of experience caring for families in the Central Valley.

“I’m looking forward to building life-long relationships with the Oakhurst community,” says Badyal.
