Staman moves to Oakhurst from Rockford, Ilinois, where she was the Executive Director of The Pregnancy Care Center of Rockford. She has more than 26 years of experience as a strategic leader, with demonstrated success in organizational development, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and pastoral experience.
“Calvin Crest is poised for growth and there is a sense of expectation in the air,” Staman says. “I am thrilled to be part of a place that has such a rich history in the Central Valley and has impacted thousands of lives over the years. I pray we will impact as many in the years to come.”
Calvin Crest has eagerly anticipated this leadership transition and now hopes to continue the process of restoration after suffering considerable loss from the Railroad Fire. Exciting growth is happening, as the Miwok Village is nearly completed, the high ropes course has been completely rebuilt, and many other facility improvements have been made.
Along with the addition of Staman, three new members joined the Board of Trustees in January, including Sylvia Sloas, Sarah Friesen, and Ginny Harrison.
Calvin Crest Conferences is funded through generous donations of churches and individuals and does not receive any state or federal funding. If you have questions or would like more information about Calvin Crest, please visit the website or call 559.772.4040.
