New Attorney Joins D.A.’s Office

MADERA COUNTY – Newly hired Supervising Deputy District Attorney Angela Hill brings 15 years of experience as a prosecutor and private attorney to her new job in the Madera County District Attorney’s Office.

Hill will supervise line level Deputy District Attorneys in all of the Madera County Superior Court departments.

“Ms. Hills years of experience will significantly improve the functioning within the D.A.’s office,” said District Attorney David Linn. “I have brought her on board to work with line level deputies, insuring that justice is done. She is a well regarded attorney, an outstanding addition, and I am very pleased to have her join our team.”

Hill previously served as a Deputy District Attorney for Madera County for 12 years, focusing on child sexual assault and domestic violence crimes. For two years, Hill was involved with the Madera County Drug Court program. She earned her degree at San Joaquin College of Law, after graduating from the University of Washington.

“I am excited to be back serving the people of Madera County and working with local law enforcement again,” says Hill

This is the first new hire for newly elected District Attorney, David Linn, and he sees it as a major step forward in promoting seasoned prosecutors that have specific experience within Madera County’s criminal justice system.
