On Saturday, August 24th, Fresno music icon Roger Perry's dynamic and rousing performance closed the Mariposa County Arts Council's 2024 Music on the Green concert series.

Music on the Green Presents The Jespersons & T-Hawks

MARIPOSA–The Jespersons return to Music on the Green on Friday, June 21st, and The T-Hawks on Saturday, June 22nd.

The Jespersons are one of Mariposa’s favorite bands and are a staple on the central California foothill music scene. The band is led by partners in music and life, Kaye and Jared Jesperson. Kaye, a Mariposa transplant from Australia, writes a large portion of their songs. She also sings lead and picks the bass on a cello. Jared is a multi instrumentalist, harmony and lead singer. The band has an undeniable chemistry and cross genre feel. This year they will feature prominent percussionist Skillet (Kevin McHatten) and other possible special guests.

The T-Hawks are an Americana band featuring the singing, songwriting and acoustic guitar playing of Tom Vandenavond (Tommy V.). Tom resides in Oakdale, CA and is a key player in the Americana Renaissance blossoming from that area. Joining him will be  T-ranch (Andy Roberts) on banjo and vocals, and Fritz Bagget on fiddle. Also, Benny Lee Friedrich on upright bass and Jon Kidd on drums.
