Music, Dancing And Fundraising At Three Springs

Three Springs logoNORTH FORK – The North Fork Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to a fundraising party for the new Visitors Center on Friday, June 14, at Three Springs Community and Garden.

Along with food, local beer and wine and a silent auction, two dynamic local bands will take The Stage at Three Springs – The Sierra Jazz Band and Bootstrap Circus.The Sierra Jazz Band plays standards from the 30’s to the 90’s, in the styles of jazz, latin, blues, swing and more. Their traditional configuration features Amy Duke on vocals, Gene Doi – Saxaphone/Flute, John Kilburn – Guitar, Nye Morton – Upright Bass, and Mark Albosta on Drums.

Bootstrap Circus combines rock, folk, ska and eastern European influences to create music that is both energetic and richly melodic. The eclectic songwriting of Adam Burns reflects his passion for the bluesy melodies of Jack White, the lyrical wit of Elvis Costello and the unbridled energy of The Clash.

Local beer and wine will be offered for sale during the festivities, from South Gate Brewery and Idle Hour Winery.

Please bring a potluck dish plus your chair, blanket, flashlight, and dancing shoes. There will also be a silent auction and opportunity drawing.

The Chamber’s mission with all their projects over the past year is “Putting North Fork on the Map!” with seasonal tourism, economic development and promotion of local organizations, businesses and special events.

With the much-anticipated and very well attended open house at the Visitors Center on Friday, May 24, they are forging ahead with fundraising efforts to develop the facility into a small business resource center and Chamber of Commerce office. Hence, the big party at Three Springs.

Organizers invite everyone to share this invitation with other North Fork residents and friends. “Together we can make this community supported event a grand success!

Donations are welcomed, even if you can not make it to the event.

The Stage at Three Springs is located at 59820 Road 225, North Fork, Ca.

The gates open at 5:30 p.m., music starts at 6 p.m.

$20 admission is suggested with sliding scale.
