OAKHURST — An organization dedicated to keeping the Oakhurst Community Center up and running is having its annual fundraising sale, and everyone is invited.
The Oakhurst Community Center is a gathering place used by nearly everyone in the area at some point for social, educational and recreational purposes. Most importantly, it provides an emergency evacuation location for residents and pets.
Mountain Community Women (MCW) is the nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that’s dedicated to raising all the funds to support the Oakhurst Community Center.
MCW’s annual Craft Fair, Flea Market and Plant Sale is on Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of vendors, tasty food, and great raffle prizes, all with the knowledge that the Community Center benefits from every purchase.
