OAKHURST — Next week, the “monsters” are coming to town.

On Thursday and Friday (Jan. 30-31), the Yosemite High School Theater Arts program — featuring students from the Theater Arts 2 class — will proudly present the “Monster Revue.”

The show will take place in the YHS theater starting at 7 p.m..

This thrilling play puts a wild spin on classic monster tales — Dracula, Frankenstein and all your other favorite ghoulish fiends come to life as a saucy narrator takes the audience on a dark but not very scary path.

The director and theater arts teacher Mr. Thorson had this to say about the play and his actors, “I am very proud of the work this class has done on this play. For most of them it is their first time in a play and they have used their imaginations to create funny, interesting characters.”

Tickets for The Monster Revue are $5 and will be available at the door.
