COARSEGOLD — A Coarsegold resident was found deceased inside his vehicle last night, after being reported missing by his family the day before.
Dr. Bradley Wayne Hufft, 59, was last seen on Wednesday afternoon, Apr 12. On Thursday, his family filed a missing persons report with the Madera County Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly after 10 p.m. last night, first responders were called out to reports of a vehicle over the embankment on Werney Road, north of Road 415. CHP, Madera County Sheriff, Cal Fire and Madera County Fire all responded, and located a 2013 Toyota Prius off the road near Dr. Hufft’s residence, with minor damage to the vehicle. Hufft was found inside the car, deceased.
The cause of the traffic accident is under investigation. The cause of Dr. Hufft’s death is pending a medical exam by the Madera County Coroner’s Office, according to CHP.
