Minarets’ New Football Coach: Becher Marr

O’NEALS — Minarets is proud to announce Becher Marr as the new Head football coach. Becher is a Yosemite graduate who grew up in the mountain area. After winning a valley championship in football, he went on to play college football following graduation.

After his playing days were over, Becher became a missionary through the Youth With a Mission (YWAM) program, spending time in the Philippines, Bosnia, and Romania.

Becher is married to Jodie, who works as a school social worker in Fresno and the couple has two children, agesfive and seven.

Screen Shot 2016-03-10 at 7.14.09 AMMost recently, Becher has served as a Varsity football coordinator at McLane high school. He also coached baseball and wrestling as well as serving as the summer strength and conditioning coordinator. He is working on completing his Special Education credential.

Coach Marr is excited to invest in the mountains where he grew up and help Minarets continue to progress as a young program.
