Minarets FFA Wins State Championship

minarets ffa wins championship

O’NEALS — Minarets FFA Advanced Parliamentary Procedure team won the state championship this year, with Christian Low as outstanding chairman, Sienna Pillsbury outstanding secretary, and Shyann Mattes outstanding chair #2. Congratulations to this champion team who will be representing California at the National Finals in October.

The Minarets Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter officially received its charter in the fall of 2008, according to the organization’s website. 28 students and just one agriculture instructor sought, from the very beginning, to expand their horizons and change the face of agriculture. Just eight years later, the chapter is proud to have four instructors and over 450 members.

Our chapter philosophy emphasizes the importance of the Learn by Doing portion of the official FFA motto; students are encouraged to create, design and inspire others. Minarets FFA embraces this philosophy on a daily basis by pushing members to dream big and reach for their true potential. We are proud to be a chapter demonstrative of diversity and a genuine passion for the agriculture industry.”
