BASS LAKE — Miller’s Landing Resort invites everyone to the first night of their planned Summer Outdoor Movie Series starting Friday, June 16.
The first movie will be playing on the water, featuring the 1988 Bass Lake classic, The Great Outdoors, written by John Hughes and starring Dan Aykryod and John Candy.
The smart-thinking folks at Miller’s Landing have purchased a massive movie screen, about 15-feet tall, and built a frame around it. The film will be projected onto the screen, facing out into the cove. There will be a roped-off area for floats, and boats will be sectioned off behind the floats for safety.
There is no charge for this event.
“Bring your boat or bring your float, we’ll be delivering the popcorn by paddle board!”
The fun starts at 8 p.m.
