Messy Hands And Science At CMOS

OAKHURST – Great news for parents of preschoolers, and older kids, too, as the Children’s Museum of the Sierra is offering new programs for September. All classes are free with membership or admission.

The Children’s Museum of the Sierra (CMOS) is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and located at 42969 Golden Oak Drive in Oakhurst, across from Western Sierra Nursery.

Messy Hands Arts and Crafts runs on Thursday, Sept. 11 and again on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 10:30 a.m. Also for little ones, Music and Movement will take place on Friday, Sept. 19 at 10:30 a.m.

Older kids and their folks can look forward to After School Science Specials for grades K-4. The first one is on Wednesday, Sept. 17 and there’s another one again on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 3 p.m. Class sizes are limited, so please call to reserve your space: (559) 658-5656
