MARIPOSA — The UC Master Gardeners of Mariposa County will hold a Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 8 – 1 p.m. (or until plants sell out), at the Amigo Stage area at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds.
Local master gardeners have been hard at work volunteering their time and expertise to bring you a wide selection of landscape and vegetable plant offerings.
They offer low prices for fall garden vegetables and landscape plants suited to our local climate. All of the plants offered will be ready to transplant into your garden or landscape.
Perennial selections include many salvia varieties, butterfly bush, yarrow, day lily, California fuchsia, penstemon, ceanothus, and many others.
Trees such as figs, catalpa, redbud and mimosa will also be on hand.
Herbs and fall vegetables will include lettuces, kale, bok choy, chard, broccoli, cilantro, sage, chives, oregano, etc.
They are accepting cash and checks only. An ATM is available by the Fairgrounds office.
The gate will open at 8 a.m. Come early as they generally sell out quickly.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact them at 209-966-2417 or email smace@ucanr.edu.
We hope to see you there!
