MARIPOSA — Put on your dancing shoes and plan to have a good time for a good cause, as Soroptimist International of Mariposa invites the community to a Spring Fiesta Dinner and Dance.
The festivities take place at the Mariposa Fairgrounds, Building A, on Saturday Mar. 25. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy dancing to the music of D.J. Mark Carpenter, and may want to be on the lookout for a silent auction, huge raffle, and a no-host bar. Tickets are $25.
All proceeds raised by this event will go directly to local service projects, scholarships, youth groups and other vital community services, say organizers. Soroptimist International of Mariposa has been a major contributor/sponsor for Mountain Crisis Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping domestic violence victims in Mariposa County.
