MARIPOSA – The Mariposa Rotary Club will host the 10th annual Art, Wine and Wheels Festival on Saturday, June 14, from noon to 6 p.m.at the Mariposa Fairgrounds.
This fun-filled family event features wine tasting from a variety of local wineries, an art exhibit and car show. Proceeds from the event assist the Mariposa community with special needs in areas such as education and health care.
The Art, Wine and Wheels Festival offers a variety of booths serving food, plus wine tasting from wineries throughout the Sierra foothills. The Small Wonders art show will feature a collection of small original art pieces donated by artists to support the Mariposa Rotary Club’s Community Gifting program, and raffle tickets can be purchased to win the artwork.
The festival will also feature a car show in which attendees can vote for their favorite entries.
“The Art, Wine and Wheels Festival is a fun way to help the Mariposa Rotary club support our wonderful community,” says Mariposa Rotary President Chery Davis. “We love showcasing some of the area’s best wines, artwork and cars in such a beautiful setting.”
There is no admission charge however a $10 donation provides six wine tasting tickets.
The Mariposa County Fairgrounds is located at 5007 Fairgrounds Road in Mariposa, just off Highway 49 South.
