MARIPOSA COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 49 for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Agua Fria Road to Princeton Way for utility work on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- One-way traffic control from Old Highway Road to Bear Valley Point for utility work on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction issues.
