Mariposa County Arts Council Partners with Ruth Fruehauf to Offer Marketing & Sales Workshop for Artists

MARIPOSA –– The Mariposa County Arts Council will partner with Ruth Fruehauf for a marketing and sales workshop for artists on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Mariposa Room at the Mariposa Health and Human Services building, located at 5362 Lemee Lane in Mariposa.

Light refreshments will be served.

Workshop tickets cost $20 and should be purchased in advance at mariposaartscouncil.org. Arts Council Members receive a discounted price of $15.

Several student scholarships are available. Please email rodriguez@mariposaartscouncil.org to request more information about scholarships.

All proceeds from the workshop will support Mariposa County Arts Council’s Arts Education initiatives.

This workshop is designed for artists living in and around Mariposa County looking to expand or develop professional business and marketing skills. Fruehauf specializes in helping artists reach the global art world through social media tools, the internet and other resources, with online sales, exhibitions and shows, and expanding audiences as objectives.

Fruehauf has worked for some of the most prestigious companies in the international art world, including Artforum and Artnet, and has taught the popular course “Inside New York’s Art Galleries” at the New School.

She recently launched her own business, The Art of Sales, which provides coaching and marketing success services for artists and arts business owners.

Artists are encouraged to attend regardless of their commercial experience.

The Mariposa County Arts Council, Inc. is an incorporated, not-for-profit organization, created to promote and support all forms of the cultural arts, for all ages, throughout Mariposa County and is funded, in part, by Mariposa County, the California Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
