Mariposa Business Owners Unite

MARIPOSA – On August 27th at 4 PM business owners and concerned citizens from Mariposa are gathering for a meeting to discuss alternative options for operating a business within the county during the Covid crisis.

Many business owners and concerned citizens feel the restrictions placed on Mariposa County are far to excessive for a rural community.  “The controls currently being used are destroying long established businesses and wiping out the economy for the entire region, together, we’re asking the State to recognize the economic needs of the rural communities, make changes to the current rules that are crippling our business community and allow business to re-open using safe protocols without the damaging restrictions now in place”, says an anonymous small business owner.

Invitations have been sent to all of the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors and anyone interested in attending is encouraged to do so. Social distancing will be observed.

The location of the meeting is on private property behind the Airport Bar & Grill on Hwy 49 (6065 Hwy 49 – Mariposa) at 4 pm.
