Mandatory Evacuation Orders For Smalley Fire Near North Fork

All Evacuation Orders For The Smalley Fire Have Been Lifted

UPDATE – June 1st, 2021 2:40pm – Warning lifted for Smalley Fire, The Madera County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the evacuation warning for Corrine Lake Road, Box Canyon Raod, Tunoi Place, and Road 222 between the County Line ( Kirckhoff Lake) and Corrine Lake Road have been lifted.

Exercise caution if you must travel through the area as emergency equipment and personnel will be in the area for the next few days.

UPDATE – June 1st, 2021 8:00am – The evacuation order has been reduced to an evacuation warning for Corrine Lake Road, Box Canyon Road and the east side of Road 222 between the County Line (Kerckhoff Lake) and Corrine Lake Road.

The evacuation warning for the West side of Road 222 between the County line (Kerckhoff Lake) and Corrine Lake Road remains in effect as well.

The fire has burned more than 45 acres and is 35% contained.

Please use caution if you need to enter the area, emergency personnel and equipment are still in the area working.

 

May 31st, 2021 6:43pm – An Evacuation Order has been issued for All homes on Corrine Lake Road as well as 28445 Road 222 and all addresses within 1/2 mile due to Wildfire. In addition, all homes on Box Canyon Rd. or homes within 1 mile of Box Canyon Rd. are under mandatory evacuation orders also.

There is an immediate threat to life. This is an evacuation order to leave now. The area is being closed to public access. Take action immediately.
