The Marina Grill at Bass Lake Boat Rentals is a beautiful lakefront dining experience on the north shore of Bass Lake. A hot destination for tourists and locals alike, the Marina Grill sports a chill beach board vibe with live music playing regularly. Talented local musicians and performers entertain patrons seven nights a week all summer long.

Mana Fire are professional fire dance performers. The group was founded by Heather Lawson in 2009. The Mana Fire team strives to explore and be inspired by many cultures from around the world, aiming to discover new forms of dance and music combining them with the art of fire.

Though Mana Fire Dancers have performed across California, these two events will be the first of their kind in the mountain area. Guests will enjoy an exclusive dinning experience paired with a fire performance. Food, fire and fun!

“It has been a vision of mine for several years to combine different forms of dance with fire,” says Mana Fire founder Heather Lawson.

“Brainstorming this concept with my sister Kim Lawson and boyfriend Andy Platfoot, we came up with the idea to combine fire with — not just dance — but culture and food as well, featuring an amazing fire performance in a unique, fully immersive experience. I am ecstatic that Tom Tuso got excited about the idea and agreed to host this show for the first time ever at his venue. I can’t think of a better setting.”

Two shows: Thursday, July 4 and Saturday, July 13

The first show will celebrate Independence Day on Thursday, July 4. DJ 7-10 will kick off the evening with some bumping tunes while guests enjoy an all-you-can-eat tri-tip dinner prepared by the Marina Grill. Mana Fire Dancers will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. for a sparkling, roaring ’20s Gastby-themed fire performance, promptly followed by an unobstructed view of the famous Bass Lake fireworks show over the water.

The second of these unique performances is titled World Fusion: Food & Fire, and will be held Saturday, July 13 from 6:30 – 10 p.m. On this evening, guests of the Marina Grill will be transported first to Spain, then Hawaii and — last but not least — to the Mediterranean, with a one-of-a-kind food and fire dance pairing.
