NORTH FORK – Local Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary member Ginger Foust is organizing a sign painting party before and after the Town Hall Meeting on Thursday night, to show the community’s appreciation for all the men and women fighting the French Fire.
District 5 Supervisor Tom Wheeler is hosting the next in his series of Town Hall meetings at the North Fork Rancheria Community Center from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7.
Starting at about 5:15 p.m., residents are invited to join in the creation of signs to decorate the town. Folks can also stay after the meeting if they can’t come early. Ginger has purchased all the necessary materials; all you need to bring is your creativity.
“Let’s cover North Fork with signs to show these firefighters that we care,” says Ginger.
