Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through October 21

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Tuesday, Oct. 15, to Monday, Oct. 21, 2019.

North Fork Illegal Dumping
On Tuesday, October 15, at 8:20 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 57000 block of Road 225 in the County of Madera regarding a trash dump in private garbage bins. An investigation was completed and a report was written, close this case.

Oakhurst Found Property
On Tuesday, October 15, at 1:34 p.m., a cadet was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive in Oakhurst regarding found property. Recommend case to remain open and forward case to Detectives for further investigation.

Oakhurst Felony Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, October 15, at 3:02 p.m., a deputy responded to the area of the 40000 block of Meadow Vista Drive for a suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, a female was contacted and found to have two warrants. One warrant was a misdemeanor warrant out of Madera County and the second warrant was a felony warrant out of Mariposa County. Female was placed under arrest for the warrants and she was transferred over to Mariposa County Sheriff’s office. Report taken and closed.

Bass Lake Threats Report
On Tuesday, October 15, at 3:45 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to a threats report that occurred in the 39000 block of Road 274. A report is taken for documentation. 

Ahwahnee Aggravated Assault
On Wednesday, October 16, at 12:37 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Hilltop Ln regarding a family disturbance between a male and female couple. After investigation it was determined that the male half physically assaulted the female half. Male half was arrested and booked at the Madera County Department of Corrections. Report was written and forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review and charges to be filed.

Coarsegold Danger To Self
On Wednesday, October 16, at 11:31 a.m., a deputy was called to the 45000 Block of Road 415 in regards to a mental health call. A subject was found to be a danger to self. A report was written.

Oakhurst Fraud
On Wednesday, October 16, at 3:55 p.m., a cadet was dispatched to the 48000 Block of Liberty Drive, Oakhurst regarding a report of a fraud. Report was taken for documentation. Recommend case closed.

North Fork Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, October 16, at 4:20 p.m., the Madera Sheriff’s POP Team conducted warrant services in the mountain division. A male subject known to have confirmed felony warrants out of Madera County was observed riding in the front passenger seat of a vehicle in the area of Road 200 and Road 224, North Fork. A traffic enforcement stop was made where the male subject ran from the vehicle. After a short foot pursuit the male subject was located and arrested for resisting arrest and the warrants. He was medically cleared, transported and booked into Madera County Department of Corrections. Case closed by arrest.

Coarsegold Vandalism
On Wednesday, October 16, at 7:51 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of a vandalism. There is no suspect leads and a report was written for documentation.

Coarsegold Narcotics Arrest
On Wednesday, October 16, at 9:19 p.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Lucky Lane and CA-41 on a vehicle with expired registration. The male driver was found to be in possession of narcotics and was arrested and issued a citation.

Oakhurst Runaway
On Thursday, October 17, at 12:31 p.m., a deputy responded to the 49000 block of Road 427 regarding a runaway juvenile. A report was taken and the juvenile entered into MUPS.

Oakhurst Missing Adult
On Thursday, October 17, at 3:15 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive regarding a missing 25 year old adult female. Refer report to detectives for follow up.

Oakhurst Felony Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, October 17, at 5:58 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the area of 49000 Road 426 for a report of subject that was seen that had a felony warrant. The subject was contacted and the warrant was confirmed and the male subject was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC.

Coarsegold Misdemeanor Arrest
On Thursday, October 17, at 9:07 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 46000 block of Skyline Ridge Rd for reported trespassing. One subject was contacted and determined to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. She was issued a citation with a new court date and released.

Oakhurst Aggravated Assault
On Thursday, October 17, at 9:39 p.m., deputies were dispatched the area of Civic Circle and Road 426 for a report of vehicle accident which was suspected to be intentional. An investigation was completed and a report was written for documentation and follow up will be conducted.

Coarsegold Vehicle Impound
On Friday, October 18, at 12:07 a.m., a deputy conducted a vehicle stop on Road 416 and Rock Creek Road. The adult male driver of the vehicle was found to be driving on a suspended license. The male subject was cited for driving on a suspended license and the vehicle was impounded. A report was written and forwarded to the DA’s Office for prosecution.

North Fork Narcotics Arrest
On Friday, October 18, at 12:51 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Road 222 for a report of a female stating the she was hearing and seeing people around her house and property. The female was found to be under the influence of suspected stimulant and was arrested and
booked into the Madera County DOC.

Oakhurst Coroner’s Report
On Friday, October 18, at 2:41 a.m., a deputy responded to the 49000 block of River Park Road in regards to a Coroners report. A female subject was found deceased inside of the residence. The decedent appeared to have died from natural causes. An investigation was conducted and a report
was written for documentation purposes.

Coarsegold Narcotics Arrest
On Friday, October 18, at 3:17 a.m., a deputy observed two vehicle driving erratically in the area of Safari World Drive and CA-41. The occupants of the vehicle, and the vehicle they were driving were searched and several different items of narcotics and paraphernalia were located. The subjects were arrested and issued citation with court dates.

Oakhurst Alleged Child Abuse
On Friday, October 18, at 10:24 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of CA-41 Oakhurst regarding a report of alleged child abuse. The involved child/victim was placed on W&I 300 hold with CPS. Report to be forwarded to detectives for follow up.

Coarsegold Neighbor Dispute
On Friday, October 18, at 5:04 p.m., a deputy responded to the 47000 block of Blackfoot Court regarding a neighbor dispute with possible threats made. A report was taken and suspended pending further follow up.

Oakhurst Misdemeanor Arrest
On Saturday, October 19, at 2:38 a.m., a deputy saw a subject that had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant driving in the area of CA-41 and Hartwell Road. A traffic stop was conducted and the male subject was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and for driving on a suspended license. The male was issued a citation and released with a court date.

Coarsegold Narcotics Arrest
On Saturday, October 19, at 3:51 a.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of CA-41 and Road 416. A male passenger was arrested and issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oakhurst Missing Person
On Saturday, October 19, at 6:38 a.m., a deputy took a telephonic report of a missing person from the Oakhurst area. While on the phone with the RP, the missing person returned home. He was entered and removed from MUPS.

Oakhurst Domestic Disturbance Arrest
On Saturday, October 19, at 5:47 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 4800 block of River Park Road in the County of Madera regarding a domestic disturbance. An investigation was conducted and evidence collected. One subject was arrested and booked into Madera DOC.

Oakhurst Danger To Self
On Sunday, October 20, at 1:49 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to the 41000 block of Pamela Place in Oakhurst regarding a public health hold. Report taken and case closed.
