Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through June 30

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, June 24 to Sunday, June 30, 2019.

Coarsegold narcotics 
On Monday, June 24 at 6:37 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found narcotics. An item was recovered and booked for destruction. The case was closed.

North Fork burglary
On Monday, June 24 at 9:50 a.m. a cadet was dispatched to the 56000 block of road 200 regarding a burglary investigation.

Oakhurst assault
On Monday, June 24 at 12:09 p.m. a deputy was dispatched 48000 block of River Park Road regarding an assault. A report was taken for documentation only.

Bass Lake patrol radio damage
On Monday, June 24 at 3 p.m. while on marine patrol of Bass Lake a deputy fell in the water causing damage to the issued patrol radio.

Oakhurst phone scam
On Monday, June 24 at 4:05 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation regarding a scam call. The deputy contacted the victim by phone as requested. It was recommended the case be suspended and forwarded to detectives for further investigation.

Oakhurst domestic violence
On Tuesday, June 25 deputies responded regarding a domestic disturbance. A subject was arrested on domestic
violence charges and booked into Madera DOC.

Oakhurst telephone fraud
On Tuesday, June 25 at 12:17 a.m. a deputy responded to the 40000 block of Highway 41 for a report of telephone fraud. Money was sent to Mexico under false pretences. A report was taken and forwarded to the detective unit for review.

Oakhurst found property
On Tuesday, June 25 at 1:57 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation lobby regarding found property. It was recommend the case be closed.

North Fork burglary
On Tuesday, June 25 at 11:27 p.m. deputies responded to the 58000 block of Road 225 regarding a burglary. A report was taken.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Wednesday, June 26 at 9:55 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Enterprise Drive regarding a vandalism to the building and fence. It was recommend the case be closed due to a lack of investigative leads.

Coarsegold burglary
On Wednesday, June 26 at 6:29 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 35000 block of Highway 41 regarding a burglary investigation. The case was closed due to a lack of investigative leads.
