Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through June 2

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, May 27 to Sunday, June 2, 2019.

North Fork found property
On Tuesday, May 28 at 12:26 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 34000 block of Road 274 regarding found property. A report was written and the case was closed.

Oakhurst burglary
On Tuesday, May 28 at 1:58 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 38000 block of Highway 41 regarding a burglary. A report was taken.

Oakhurst coroner’s report
On Wednesday, May 29 at 12:05 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Lindsay Lane regarding a coroner’s case. A report was written, evidence obtained and case forwarded to the Madera County Sheriff’s Chief Coroner for review.

Oakhurst juvenile danger to self
On Wednesday, May 29 at 1 p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a juvenile who was having suicidal thoughts. A report was taken.

Coarsegold burglary
On Wednesday, May 29 at 1:49 p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to an attempted burglary. A report was written.

Oakhurst violation of a civil harassment court order
On Wednesday, May 29 at 1:19 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 50000 block of Road 426 regarding a violation of a civil harassment court order. Case to be forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office for review of charges.

Bass Lake driving a vessel under the influence
On Wednesday, May 29 at 6:45 p.m. a deputy conducted a vessel stop on Bass Lake near the 54000 block of Road 432. The operator of the vessel was intoxicated and had collided with another docked boat. The subject was arrested and transported to MDOC without incident.

Bass Lake vessel accident
On Wednesday, May 29 at 6:45 p.m. a deputy contacted a subject at the 54000 block of Road 432 regarding a vessel accident. A report was taken for documentation. The victim advised minor damage to her boat.

Oakhurst report of decade-old sex crime alleged in Fresno County
On Thursday, May 30 at 8:03 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to take a courtesy report for Fresno County Sheriff’s Office regarding a sex offense that occurred 10 years ago in Fresno County. The female reporting party was in Oakhurst and a report was written and forwarded to Fresno County Sheriffs Office for further investigation.

Coarsegold public intoxication
On Friday, May 31 at 1:30 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding an intoxicated subject causing a disturbance at the location. Once on scene the subject was contacted and arrested for being intoxicated in public.

Bass Lake report of burglary, subjects released
On Friday, May 31 at 10:34 a.m. deputies responded to the 39000 block of Island for a report of a burglary in progress. Deputies arrived, surrounded the residence and made announcements for the individuals to come out. Two individuals were detained and then later released after learning they had permission to be on the property to film a video.

O’Neals danger to self
On Friday, May 31 at 5:30 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 47000 block of Road 200 regarding a possible suicidal subject. Deputies arrived on scene and conducted a mental health evaluation. The subject was later turned over to Sierra Ambulance.

Ahwahnee patrol vehicle struck by deer
On Saturday, June 1 at 7:52 a.m. a deputy was driving on CA-49 near the county line when a deer struck the drivers side of the patrol vehicle. A report was written for documentation.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Saturday, June 1 at 4:11 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 30000 block of Revis Road regarding an incident of domestic violence that occurred one week prior. Information was obtained for a report.

Oakhurst assault
On Saturday, June 1 at 7:01 p.m. a deputy responded to a report of an assault with the brandishing of a knife on the 40000 block of CA-41. Case written for documentation and closed due to the victim not wanting to pursue charges.

Eastman Lake body found in water
On Sunday, June 2 at eputies dispatched to a local lake in the area of 32000 block of Road 29 in regards to a deceased male floating in the water. The male was recovered and determined to be a missing person the sheriff’s office had been looking for. A report was taken. Forward to coroner’s division.

Raymond medical emergency
On Sunday, June 2 at 6:10 p.m. deputies responded to the 37000 block of Road 600 regarding a medical emergency. Detectives responded to the scene. A report was taken.
