MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, July 1 to Sunday, July 7, 2019.

Oakhurst coroner’s case
On Tuesday, July 2 at 10:56 p.m. a deputy responded to a coroner’s case on Nelder Heights Drive.

Man Drowns While Boating On Bass Lake

Coarsegold found property
On Wednesday, July 3 at 8:52 a.m. a deputy recovered found property in the 30000 block of Meadow Ridge Road. The found property was booked into evidence.

North Fork domestic disturbance
On Wednesday, July 3 at 9:56 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to Road 225 regarding a domestic disturbance. An adult male was placed in custody for violation a criminal protective order. Case to be forwarded to the District Attorney for filing charges.

Bass Lake dog bite
On Thursday, July 4 at 10:10 a.m. a deputy responded to the Little Denver Camp ground for a report of a dog bite. A deputy arrived, gathered information and a report was written and forwarded to Madera County Animal Control.

This week’s log “may appear to have fewer entries than normal due to a CAD system outage which occurred on July 6-7,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.
