Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through Jan. 6

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 to Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019.

North Fork burglary
On Monday, Dec. 31 at 10:24 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 54000 block of Pinchot Drive in regards to a delayed burglary investigation. A report was taken. Currently there are no suspect(s) or investigative leads.

Oakhurst coroner’s report
On Monday, Dec. 31 at 10:15 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Bollinger Place for a report of a coroner’s case. A report was written and forwarded for review.

North Fork public intoxication
On Monday, Dec. 31 at 2:26 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Road 222 in regards to an intoxicated adult female. The female was located, arrested and booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections. A probation hold was authorized by probation.

Oakhurst report of prowler
On Monday, Dec. 31 at 8:17 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a residence located within the 39000 block of John West Road regarding a report of a prowler. This case has been suspended, pending investigative leads.

Bass Lake public intoxication
On Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 12:17 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 54000 block of Road 432 regarding a possible trespass and disturbance. Upon arrival Deputies determined a subject who, earlier, had been asked to leave the location but returned and started another disturbance. The subject was found to be intoxicated and unable to follow directions from deputies. The subject was transported to the Madera Department of Corrections.

Oakhurst found property
On Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 1:39 p.m. a deputy was flagged down in the area of Alta Vista Way and Ponderosa Way and informed of found property. The property was located and booked for destruction.

Coarsegold theft
On Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 7:54 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a theft. It was determined a guest had stolen approximately $320 from an employee’s money bag. The suspect and his wife were tracked down and agreed to give the money back. Report for documentation only.

Oakhurst missing juvenile
On Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 10:18 p.m. a deputy took a report of a missing juvenile. A report was taken and the juvenile was entered into the
missing person database.

Oakhurst methamphetamine for sale
On Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 2:08 a.m. a vehicle was found blocking the road at the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 49. The driver arrested for driving with a suspended license and for possession of methamphetamine for sale. The passenger was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale. The vehicle towed.

Coarsegold report of fraud
On Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 11:24 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive in regards to a report of a possible fraud.

Oakhurst vehicle towed due to warrant citation
On Wednesday, Jan. 2 12:39 p.m. a deputy contacted a subject at the 40000 block of CA-41, who was driving on a suspended license and had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. The subject was cited and released. The vehicle was towed.

Coarsegold report of possible fraud
On Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 1:30 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive in regards to a report of a possible fraud which occurred at the 42000 block of Deep Forest Drive.

North Fork report of fraud
On Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 4:14 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive in regards to a report of a possible fraud that occurred on the 31000 block of Wyle Ranch Road.

North Fork lost or stolen firearm
On Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 4:39 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 34000 block of Douglas Ranger Station Road regarding a lost or stolen firearm. A case file was pulled and the firearm was entered as lost or stolen.

North Fork report possible sex offense
On Wednesday, Jan. 2 6:24 p.m. a deputy was dispatched for report of a possible sex offense that occurred in November of 2018. An investigation was conducted and a report was written.

Oakhurst suspicious statements
On Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 7:02 p.m. a deputy responded to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive regarding suspicious statements made earlier in the 40000 block of CA-49. A report was taken for documentation.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Thursday, Jan. 3 at 2:22 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of domestic violence. Upon arrival, an investigation was competed and an arrest was made. The suspect was transported to MDOC and a report was written. Submit for prosecution.

Coarsegold coroner’s report
On Thursday, Jan. 3 at 11:07 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of Yosemite Springs Parkway regarding a coroner’s case. A report was taken and the decedent was turned over to the Coroner’s Office. The recommendation for this report is to be forwarded to the Coroner’s Office for further investigation.

Ahwahnee domestic violence
On Thursday, Jan. 3 at 9:44 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 45000 block of Forest Ridge Drive for a domestic disturbance report. An investigation was done and one arrest made.

Oakhurst assist with locating a wanted felon
On Friday, Jan. 4 at 9:10 a.m. a deputy responded to the 40000 block of CA-49 to assist Mariposa County with locating a wanted felon. The subject was located and arrested. He was then turned over to Mariposa County Sheriff’s Deputies and cited on local misdemeanor warrants. There are no new charges being requested at this time and this case may be closed.

Coarsegold mental health hold
On Friday, Jan. 4 at 6:02 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding an intoxicated female. She was placed on a mental health evaluation hold and transported to a hospital by ambulance for a mental health evaluation.

Coarsegold child custody dispute
On Friday, Jan. 4 at 6:27 p.m. a deputy responded regarding a child custody dispute and possible threats. The threats were determined to be unfounded. A report was written for documentation.

Coarsegold found possible narcotics
On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1:40 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found white crystal-like substance. The substance was collected and booked for destruction.

Coarsegold found narcotics
On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 5:37 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found narcotics on the casino floor. A suspect was located, identified, and cited for the violation. Forward this report to the DA’s office for filing of the listed
charge and close.

Coarsegold family disturbance
On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1:14 p.m. a deputy was dispatched for reports of a family disturbance. An investigation was done and one male subject was arrested for a Felony Warrant. Forward case to DA’s office.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 4:32 p.m. a deputy was dispatched for reports of a female who was out of control. The female was placed on a mental health evaluation hold and transported by EMS for treatment.

North Fork family disturbance
On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 6:48 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a family disturbance. A female juvenile was arrested and booked at juvenile hall for assault.

Oakhurst report of threats
On Sunday, Jan. 6 at 11:52 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Hwy 49 regarding threats. A report was written and case closed.

Coarsegold found narcotics
On Sunday, Jan. 6 at 12:57 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in regards to found narcotics. The narcotics are seized and booked for destruction.

Coarsegold narcotics violation
On Sunday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of a narcotics violation. Deputies arrived on scene and collected suspected narcotics which were later booked as found property. Case was closed due to lack of suspect information.

Oakhurst coroner’s report
On Sunday, Jan. 6 at 5:39 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 50000 block of Road 426 for a coroner’s report. Deputies arrived on scene and generated a report and forwarded the case.

Ahwahnee coroner’s report
On Sunday, Jan. 6 at 12:33 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 42000 block of High Point Court in regards to a coroner investigation. The death appears to be from natural causes. Report forwarded for review.
