Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through Jan. 13

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Jan. 7 to Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019.

Oakhurst burglary
On Monday, Jan. 7 at 8:24 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Road 427 in regards to a burglary investigation. Numerous items were stolen from a storage container at the location. Case to be suspended.

Ahwahnee coroner’s report
On Monday, Jan. 7 at 12:33 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 42000 block of High Point Court in regards to a coroner investigation. The death appears to be from natural causes. Report forwarded to Chief Deputy Coroner for review.

Oakhurst report of fraud in Florida
On Monday, Jan. 7 at 5:13 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to investigate a fraud that occurred in the state of Florida. The victim resides in the 46000 block of Vista Del Rio Drive. Currently, there are no suspects. Case to be suspended.

North Fork coroner’s report
On Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 8:36 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Road 222 in regards to a coroner investigation. The death appears to be a result of natural causes. Report forwarded to Chief Deputy Coroner.

Oakhurst report of theft
On Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 1:43 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a report of theft in the 43000 block of County Club Drive East in the county of Madera. Case closed until a further lead develops.

Oakhurst traffic stop results in arrest for drug paraphernalia
On Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 4:40 p.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Road 426 and Road 425b on a vehicle that had no front license plate and non-reflective tail lights. The male driver was found to be on active felony probation. The male driver was searched and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The male was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC.

Coarsegold found narcotics
On Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 9:02 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of found narcotics. The narcotics were collected and booked for destruction at the Madera County Sheriffs Office Sub Station.

Oakhurst theft
On Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 11:36 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Highway 41 regarding theft. A report was written and case closed.

Oakhurst narcotics
On Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 2:31 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Highway 49 regarding a controlled substance. A report was written and case forwarded to detectives.

Friant missing person
On Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 4:30 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a telephonic report of a missing person in the 49000 block of Three Gate Road. A report was taken and a missing person was entered into the missing and unidentified persons system.

Coarsegold coroner’s report for motor vehicle collision
On Thursday, Jan. 10 at 7:54 a.m. a deputy responded to the area of Highway 41 and Road 207 in regards to a coroner’s report. An adult female was deceased due to a motor vehicle collision. The decedent was removed by the Coroner’s Office. A report was written to document the incident.

On Thursday, Jan. 10 at 8:15 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Country Club Drive West regarding a coroner’s report. Refer to Chief Coroner for review.

Coarsegold narcotics arrest
On Thursday, Jan. 10 at 9:52 a.m. a deputy responded to a business located in the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in regards to a suspicious subject. Deputies located the subject in the area and he was found to be under the influence of narcotics. The male subject was arrested and booked into the Madera County Jail. A report was written and forwarded to the DA’s Office for prosecution.

Coarsegold theft of yard tools
On Thursday, Jan. 10 at 3:33 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to 37000 block of Mudge Ranch Road regarding theft of yard tools. There were witnesses with leads at this time. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Friday, Jan. 11 at 12:22 p.m. a deputy responded in regards to a missing persons report. A report was written and the adult male was entered into the missing persons database. The subject was later located and placed on a mental health evaluation hold.

North Fork vandalism
On Friday, Jan. 11 at 1:34 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 34000 block of Mistletoe Court regarding vandalism to a shed. The victim requested a report for documentation. Refer report suspended until further leads develop.

Oakhurst missing juvenile
On Friday, Jan. 11 at 3:40 p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a runaway juvenile report. A report was written and the juvenile was entered into the missing persons database.

Coarsegold burglary
On Friday, Jan. 11 at 4:28 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 37000 block of Road 425C regarding a burglary. The victim advised that someone broken into his shed and stolen several items. A report was taken for documentation. Report suspended until further leads develop.

North Fork danger to self
On Friday, Jan. 11 at 4:41 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a female making suicidal statements. The involved subject was placed on a mental health evaluation hold and transported to a hospital. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst traffic stop results in narcotics arrest
On Saturday, Jan. 12 a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of CA-41 and Golden Oak Loop on a vehicle with no license plates. Two males passengers in the vehicle were arrested and booked for drug-related charges.

On Sunday, Jan. 13 at 12:46 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Live Oak Drive in Oakhurst regarding theft. A report was written and case closed.
