Madera County Sheriff’s Log Through Feb. 10

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Feb. 4 to Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019.

Coarsegold assault by juvenile
On Monday, Feb. 4 at 4:08 a.m. a deputy was dispatched for reports of a juvenile involved in an assault. An investigation was done and the juvenile was transported and booked at Juvenile Hall. Case forwarded to Juvenile Probation.

North Fork danger to self
On Monday, Feb. 4 at 11:11 a.m. a deputy responded to the 50000 block of School Road in regards to a mental health call. A subject was determined to be a danger to self and was placed on a protective hold. A report was written.

Coarsegold children placed in protective custody
On Monday, Feb. 4 at 8:19 p.m. deputies were dispatched to assist Madera Child Protective Services. Upon arrival it was determined three children at the location needed to be placed into protective custody. The children were turned over to Child Protective Services and the case will forwarded to Madera County Child Protective Services.

Coarsegold public intoxication
On Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 2:38 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 37000 block of CA-41 for reports of a male subject harassing customers. The male subject was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for public intoxication. and booked at Madera County Department of Corrections.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 4:52 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined the victim had been hit by his girlfriend as they were driving from the location. The female half was contacted and booked into Madera County Department of Corrections on domestic violence-related charges. Case to be forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office for review of charges to be filed.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 11:38 a.m. deputies responded for a report of a male subject threatening to end his life. The subject was contacted and placed on a mental health evaluation hold.

Oakhurst assault on a peace officer
On Thursday, Feb. 7 at 6:52 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 40000 block of Highway CA-41 for a report of a subject unresponsive inside the store. The subject was located and was arrested and booked for assault on a peace officer and for a probable cause declaration from another case.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. deputies responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a domestic disturbance. A report was written.

North Fork narcotics
On Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8:28 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Road 222 in regards to a male subject refusing to leave the premises. The subject was contacted and arrested for being under the influence of a narcotic. Case forwarded to the Madera County DA to pursue the charge.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Thursday, Feb. 7 at 10:59 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to 40000 block of CA-41 for a report of a male who was attempting to fight employees inside the store. The male was contacted outside the store and was found to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself or others. The male was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC.

Coarsegold narcotics
On Friday, Feb. 8 at 3:39 a.m. deputies responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found narcotics. The narcotics were collected and a report was written.

Oakhurst warrants and drug sales
On Friday, Feb. 8 at 3:43 a.m. a deputy conducted a subject check in the area of the 40000 block of CA-41. One of the three male subjects was found to have two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. A search of his person was conducted and several items relating to drug sales were located. The male was arrested and booked into Madera County DOC for outstanding warrants and for drug sales.

North Fork traffic warrant arrest and citation
On Friday, Feb. 8 at 10:10 a.m. a deputy was flagged down near the 58000 block of Road 225 regarding a suspicious subject with an outstanding traffic warrant. He was cited and released.

North Fork report of shoplifting
On Friday, Feb. 8 at at 1:50 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 5700 block of Road 225 regarding a shoplifter. The reporting party requested no charges.

Coarsegold disturbance
On Saturday, Feb. 9 at 11:25 p.m. a deputy responded to the 700 block of Lucky Lane in regards to a disturbance. One female was taken into custody. Forward case for prosecution.

O’Neals stolen property 
On Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2:39 a.m. a deputy conducted a stop of a vehicle on the 21000 block of CA-41. An investigation was conducted and a male subject was arrested and booked for several theft-related charges. Forward to Madera County DA to pursue charges.
