MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Apr. 15 to Sunday, Apr. 21, 2019.

Oakhurst report of fraud
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 10:22 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation in regards of a theft of funds from a bank account. A report was taken by phone.

Oakhurst motor vehicle stop and arrest
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at noon a deputy contacted a subject who had an outstanding arrest warrant. The subject was arrested and booked. Close the case.

Ahwahnee coroner’s report
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 12:47 p.m. a deputy responded to a delayed coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.

North Fork mail vandalism
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 12:51 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation in regards to a vandalism of mail. The deputy contacted the victim by phone and it was recommended that the case to be closed due to a lack of further investigative leads.

Oakhurst coroner’s report
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 1:24 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Woodbend Lane regarding a coroner’s report. The decedent was removed and a report generated. Forward to the coroners office.

North Fork report of fraud
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 1:54 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Road 426 in regards to a fraud investigation. It was recommended that the case would remain open and be forwarded to detectives.

Oakhurst report of fraud
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 1:42 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 51000 block of 632 in regards to a fraud investigation. Recommend case to stay open and forward to detectives.

Oakhurst report of fraud
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 2:21 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Vista Del Rio in regards to a fraud. A report was taken.

Coarsegold coroner’s case
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 3;48 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a coroner’s case.

Ahwahnee report of fraud
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 4:31 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation in regards to a fraud investigation. The victim was contacted by phone and it was then recommended that the case would stay open and be forwarded to detectives.

Coarsegold vandalism
On Tuesday, Apr. 16 at 6:38 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 32000 block of Sunset Ridge Way West regarding a possible vandalism that occurred in the past week at an unknown time or location.

Oakhurst theft
On Wednesday, Apr. 17 at 8:17 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of Black Road for a report of a theft of paint supplies and tires from a vehicle in the parking lot. A subject was located in the area and a report was written for documentation.

Ahwahnee theft
On Wednesday, Apr. 17 at 9:18 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 58000 block of Road 601 in regards to a theft report involving the transfer of funds electronically. The report was taken by phone and forwarded to the detective unit for additional investigation.

Oakhurst traffic stop and arrests
On Wednesday, Apr. 17 at 11:36 a.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 40000 block of Highway CA-41 on a vehicle with modified exhaust and no mud flaps. The male driver and a male passenger were arrested and cited for outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

Oakhurst fraud investigation
On Wednesday, Apr. 17 at 2:52 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation in regards to a fraud investigation. The report was taken by phone and it was recommended that the case be closed due to a lack of investigative leads.

On Wednesday, Apr. 17 at 5:38 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation in regards to a fraud investigation. It was recommended that the case stay open and be forwarded to detectives.

On Wednesday, Apr. 17 at 5:41 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation in regards to a fraud investigation. The report was taken by phone and recommended that the case stay open and be forwarded to detectives.

On Wednesday, Apr. 17 at 10:51 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst subtation in regards to a fraud investigation. The report was taken by phone and recommended that the case stay open and be forwarded to detectives.

Coarsegold attempted vehicle burglary, possible attempted motor vehicle theft
On Thursday, Apr. 18 at 12:23 p.m. a deputy responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for an attempted vehicle burglary. A report was written and the investigation is ongoing.

Coarsegold report of forgery
On Thursday, Apr. 18 at 12:25 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Creek Ranch Road regarding a report of credit card fraud. This case is regarding the fraudulent use of credit card information. Case to be forwarded to detectives.

Oakhurst report of fraud at a gas station
On Thursday, Apr. 18 at 1:56 p.m. a deputy took a phone report regarding a fraud that occurred at a gas station in Oakhurst. The report will be forwarded to detectives for follow up investigation.

Coarsegold report of fraud
On Thursday, Apr. 18 at 9:54 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 42000 block of Woodmar Drive regarding the fraudulent use of a credit card. Case to be forwarded to detectives.

Oakhurst violation of a custody order
On Thursday, Apr. 18 at 3:50 p.m. a deputy took a phone report at the Oakhurst substation regarding a violation of a custody order. Both parties were contacted and a report was written.

Oakhurst report of fraud
On Thursday, Apr. 18 at 3:54 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 Elliott Drive for a report of a fraudulent charge made to a credit card. A report was written.

North Fork coroner’s case
On Friday, Apr. 19 at 6:22 a.m. a deputy responded to a delayed coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a coroner’s referral number.

Coarsegold burglary
On Friday, Apr. 19 at 10:30 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Road 415 regarding a burglary. The victim advised that several items were taken from her residence. She requested a report for documentation. Refer the report to be suspended until further leads develop.
