Madera County Sheriff’s Log – Sept. 17-23

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from Madera County Sheriff’s Office reports taken locally Sept. 17 -23, 2019.

Coarsegold — Theft
On Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 10:53, a deputy was dispatched to take a report via telephone regarding a stolen wallet. An investigation was completed and a report was written. Forward this case to Madera DA for review of charges file.

Oakhurst — Aggravated Assault
On Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 12:57, a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive in Oakhurst regarding an assault. Report written and case closed.

Raymond — Aggravated Assault
On Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 13:47, deputies were dispatched to Madera Police Department lobby regarding a domestic disturbance that occurred in the 37000 block of Eagle Drive. Upon arrival it was determined the disturbance occurred on Sunday 9-15-19. CV the father of her youngest daughter became aggressive after she told him he did not want to get intimate with him. CV stated the male half grabbed her by both her arms, leaving bruises as well as around her neck. The male half was located at his residence in Madera and arrested on domestic violence charges. Case to be forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s Office for charges to be filed.

Oakhurst — Drugs
On Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 14:19, a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Civic Cir. in Oakhurst regarding drug offences. Report written and case suspended.

Coarsegold — Assault
On Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 20:01, a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Ranger Circle Drive regarding an assault. Report for documentation.

Ahwahnee — Neighborhood Disturbance
On Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 11:53, a deputy was dispatched to the 45000 block of Pine River Road in Ahwahnee regarding a female yelling at her neighbor’s. (No further information on incident disclosed in log report.)

Oakhurst — Fraud
On Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 14:06, a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive in Oakhurst regarding fraud. Report written and case forwarded to detectives.

Oakhurst — Runaway
On Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 16:38, a deputy responded to the 50000 block of Road 427 for a runaway juvenile report. Report was taken and juvenile was placed into MUPS (Missing Unidentified Persons System). Report forwarded to detective division.

Oakhurst — Missing Persons
On Thursday, Sept. 19 at 9:43, a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Indian Springs Road in the County of Madera regarding a runaway juvenile. An investigation was conducted and Juvenile entered into MUPS. Case forwarded to Madera County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Division for further investigation. Report Forwarded to Madera County Juvenile Probation.

Bass Lake — Theft
On Thursday, Sept. 19 at 11:14, a deputy was dispatched to the 54000 block of Road 432 regarding a possible theft of a cell phone. An investigation was completed and found the phone was accidentally picked up and taken home. The phone was later recovered and returned to the owner.

Oakhurst — Warrant Arrest
On Thursday, Sept. 19 at 16:43, a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 in the County of Madera, regarding a verbal disturbance. An investigation was conducted and disturbance unfounded. One subject involved was found to have active warrants. Subject was arrested and issued citations for outstanding warrants.

Oakhurst — Aggravated Assault
On Thursday, Sept. 19 at 17:25, a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Victoria Ln Oakhurst regarding an assault. Report is for documentation only. Case to be closed.

Coarsegold — Danger to Self
On Thursday, Sept. 19 at 18:08, deputy dispatched to the 29000 block of Meadow Ln regarding a suicidal subject. The subject was contacted and determined to be a danger to himself and/or others. He was transported by ambulance for evaluation and treatment.

Oakhurst — Loitering
On Thursday, Sept. 19 at 22:42, while on self initiated patrol, deputy stops two subjects for loitering in the 40000 block of CA-41. One subject is determined to have a misdemeanor warrant. He is cited and released.

Coarsegold — Assault
On Friday, Sept. 20 at 14:45, a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a domestic dispute. An investigation was conducted and report written. One subject was arrested and booked into Madera DOC.

Oakhurst — Violation of Restraining Order
On Friday, Sept. 20 at 16:40, deputy dispatched to the 48000 block of Victoria Ln regarding a possible domestic disturbance. An investigation revealed that one subject was in violation of a restraining order and his probation. He was arrested and booked into Madera County DOC.

Bass Lake — Public Intoxication
On Saturday, Sept. 21 at 3:00, a deputy was dispatched to the 37000 block of Road 274 in regards to an intoxicated subject. A male adult subject was contacted and found to be intoxicated. The male subject was arrested and booked into the Madera County Jail. A report was written and forwarded to the DA’s Office for prosecution.

Coarsegold — Coroner’s Report
On Saturday, Sept. 21 at 8:17, a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Sioux Road regarding a coroner case. An investigation was conducted and report written. Decedent was removed by A&R and transported to Madera County Morgue. Next of kin was notified.

Coarsegold — Theft
On Saturday, Sept. 21 at 17:19, deputy responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Ln for a reported vehicle burglary. Investigation was completed and case closed due to lack of evidence.

Coarsegold — Narcotics
On Saturday, Sept. 21 at 19:49, a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Ln regarding possible narcotics. The substance was collected and booked for destruction.

Coarsegold — Theft
On Saturday, Sept. 21 at 22:14, deputy dispatched to a telephonic report of theft that occurred in the 46000 block of Lucky Ln. Individual reported her cell phone had been stolen. Case written and closed due to lack of leads.
