Madera County Sheriff’s Log for Jan. 14-20, 2020

MADERA COUNTYFollowing are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office reports taken locally from January 14-20, 2020.

Coarsegold – Narcotics
On Jan. 14 at 07:07 a.m., deputy responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of narcotics found. The narcotics were collected and booked at the Madera Sheriffs Office for destruction. Case closed.

Oakhurst – Fraud
On Jan. 14 at 10:55 a.m. deputy responded to a dispatched call in the 49000 block of Road 426 in regards to internet credit card fraud. Case closed pending further suspect leads.

Oakhurst – General incident
On Jan. 14 at 11:30 a.m., while working a detail vehicle was damaged on road way on the 40000 block of Meadow Vista Dr.

Coarsegold – Theft
On Jan. 14 at 12:28 p.m., deputy responded to the 43000 block of Crystal Springs Way for a report of a theft of an address sign. No leads, no suspects. Case closed.

Oakhurst – Warrant arrest
On Jan. 14 at 2:20 p.m., the Madera Sheriff’s POP Team conducted warrant services in the mountain division. A female subject with confirmed warrants was contacted in the 48000 block of Road 620, Oakhurst. She was arrested, transported and booked into Madera County Department of Corrections.

Coarsegold – Warrant arrest
On Jan. 14 at 4:52 p.m., the Madera Sheriff’s POP Team conducted warrant services in the mountain division. A male subject with a confirmed warrant was located in the 43000 block of Trabuco Road. He was arrested, transported and booked into Madera County Department of Corrections.

Coarsegold – Warrant arrest
On Jan. 14 at 7:52 p.m., deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of Hwy 41 regarding a verbal disturbance. The subject had two outstanding warrants which he was issued a citation to appear in court.

North Fork – Vandalism
On Jan. 15 at 8:52 a.m., deputy dispatched to the area of Golden Acorn Ct and Road 200 regarding vandalism to a camper trailer. There was no evidence or leads. Case to be closed.

Oakhurst – Danger to self
On Jan. 15 at 7:41 p.m., deputy dispatched to the 49000 block of Road 427 for a report of a juvenile that was cutting her wrist. The female juvenile was contacted and was placed on W&I 5150 and transported to Valley Children’s Hospital for evaluation.

Oakhurst – Weapons, drugs
On Jan. 16 at 11:46 a.m., deputy conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the 40000 CA-41 and a rear occupant was found to be on probation out of Merced County. During the investigation a firearm and methamphetamine was located in the vehicle and the subject was booked into MCDOC without incident.

Coarsegold – Felony warrant
On Jan. 16 at 12:31 p.m., Madera County detectives received information about a wanted Valley Crime Stopper Suspect who was in the 46000 Block of Rd 417. The female suspect was located at a near by business and turned over to Fresno PD for her $100,000 Felony warrant. There was another male who was contacted with her that was booked at Madera DOC for misdemeanor charges.

Oakhurst – Forged check
On Jan. 16 at 3:09 p.m., deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a check that was forged by a subject. An investigation was conducted and a report was written. Case will be forwarded to the Madera County Sheriff’s Detective Division.

Oakhurst – Sex offense
On Jan. 17 at 3:35 p.m., deputy dispatched to the 41000 block of CA-41 regarding a sex offense involving a juvenile. Report to be forwarded to detectives.

Oakhurst – Aggravated assault
On Jan. 17 at 8:49 p.m., deputy was dispatched the 40000 block of CA-41 in regards to a domestic. An investigation was conducted and an arrest was made. Case forwarded to the DA’s Office.

North Fork – Battery
On Jan. 17 at 9:54 p.m., deputy was dispatched to the 59000 block of Road 225 for a report of a battery. An investigation was conducted and report was taken for documentation purposes. No further action requested.

Coarsegold – Public intoxication
On Jan. 18 at 4;43 a.m., deputy dispatched to the 32000 block of CA-41 for a report of a carjacking. The male subject’s story was believed to be unfounded. The male subject was found to be severely intoxicated on suspected methamphetamine’s and was arrested and booked.

Oakhurst – Fraud
On Jan. 18 at 1:14 p.m., deputy conducted a vehicle check in the area of West Lake Drive. Two subjects were found to be in possession of narcotics and several identification cards/credit cards that belonged to other people. Both subjects were arrested and booked into the Department of Corrections.

Oakhurst – Warrant
On Jan. 18 at 10:53 p.m., deputy conducted a subject check in the 40000 block of Highway 41 and the subject was found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of Madera County. The subject was arrested and booked into MCDOC without incident.

Coarsegold – Aggravated assault
On Jan. 19 at 2:37 a.m., deputy was dispatched to the 47000 block of Oneida Ave. in regards to domestic violence. An investigation was conducted and one arrest was made. Case forwarded to the DA’s Office.

Wishon – Burglary
On Jan. 19 at 7:37 a.m., deputy dispatched to the 36000 block of Cedar Lane regarding a burglary. Report written, evidence obtained, and case closed.

Bass Lake — Found property
On Jan. 19 at 2 p.m., deputy responded to the 54000 block of Road 432 for a report of found property. The reporting party reported a guest had left a gun in the room. Gun was collected and booked under safekeeping. Case closed.

Coarsegold — Narcotics
On Jan. 20 at 2 p.m., deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of found narcotics. The narcotics were collected and booked for destruction. Case closed.

Coarsegold — Weapons
On Jan. 20 at 1:51 p.m., deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Road 415 regarding a subject that was possibly under the influence of alcohol and refusing to leave the property. An investigation was completed, an arrest was made and a report was written. Forward this case to Madera DA’s Office for review of charges filed. Forward to Probation.

Oakhurst — Coroner report
On Jan. 20 at 12:00 p.m., deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of Live Oak Drive regarding a coroner case. A report was written.
