Madera County Sheriff’s Log for the Week Ending November 11

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office reports taken locally from Tuesday, November 5, to Monday, November 11, 2019.

Ahwahnee Fraud Investigation
On Tuesday, November 5, at 11:54 a.m., a cadet was dispatched to Liberty Drive in Oakhurst regarding a fraud investigation. Recommend case be closed due to a lack of investigative leads.

Oakhurst Juveniles Fighting
On Tuesday, November 5, at 2:56 p.m., a deputy responded to School Road in regards to two juveniles fighting. A report was written.

Oakhurst Missing Wallet
On Tuesday, November 5, at 4:14 p.m., a cadet was dispatched to Liberty Drive in Oakhurst regarding a missing wallet. Recommend case to be suspended.

Oakhurst Misdemeanor Warrant Arrest
On Tuesday, November 5, at 5:01 p.m., a deputy responded to the Sheriff’s Oakhurst sub-station for a warrant. Subject was contacted and given a citation for the misdemeanor warrant. Subject was released from scene. Case written and closed.

North Fork Domestic Disturbance
On Tuesday, November 5, at 5:54 p.m., a deputy was dispatched to Mission Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. The reporting party advised of a sexual assault that occurred to two of her children by the father. After investigation it was the determined the allegations were unfounded. Report was taken for documentation purposes and case closed.

Oakhurst Vandalism
On Wednesday, November 6, at 10:55 a.m., a deputy was dispatched to Civic Circle Drive for a vandalism report to County property. An investigation was completed and evidence was obtained. A report was written.

Oakhurst Felony Warrant Arrest
On Wednesday, November 6, at 10:42 p.m., a deputy spoke with two subjects on CA-41. One of the subjects was found to have two outstanding felony warrants for his arrest. The male subject was arrested and booked into the Madera County DOC on his outstanding felony warrants.

Coarsegold Narcotics Arrest
On Thursday, November 7, at 6:04 p.m., deputies were dispatched to check a location on Road 415 for a report of a motorcycle that was on the property. Two subjects were contacted in the driveway of the property. A search of the vehicle and person were conducted and the subjects were arrested and issued citations for drug-related offences.

Oakhurst Misdemeanor Arrest 
On Thursday, November 7, at 7:45 p.m., a male subject was arrested, cited and released for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of San Luis Obispo County.

Oakhurst Court Order Violation
On Friday, November 8, at 4:24 p.m., a deputy dispatched to Vista Heights Lane for a report of a violation of a court order. A report was written for documentation only.

Oakhurst Runaway Juvenile
On Friday, November 8, at 8:00 p.m., deputies responded to Black Oak River Road regarding a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was entered into MUPS.

Coarsegold Narcotics Arrest
On Saturday, November 9, at 12:36 a.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop on CA-41 on a vehicle that had driven off the roadway. The female passenger was found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and issued a citation with a court date.

Coarsegold Felony Narcotics Arrest
On November 9, at 4:07 a.m., a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of CA-41 on vehicle with tinted windows. The male driver was later arrested for sales of narcotics and booked into the Madera County DOC on felony charges.

Coarsegold Disturbance
On Saturday, November 9, at 9:45 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Oonay Nation Road for a report of a male subject causing a disturbance and threatening people. A male subject was later arrested and booked into MCDOC for PC 368 (b)(1).

Coarsegold Misdemeanor Arrest
On Sunday, November 10, at 2:16 a.m., a  traffic stop was conducted in the area of Coyote Hollow Lane which resulted in a male subject being arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
