MADERA COUNTY– Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Mar. 12 to Sunday, Mar. 18, 2018.
Oakhurst missing person found
On Monday, Mar. 12 at 12:40 p.m. a deputy was dispatched for a report of a missing elderly adult with medical issues. Multiple units were assigned to assist in the search for the missing person. A large search effort was conducted and the missing person was located inside another establishment in good health. S report was written to document the search.
Coarsegold Coroner’s report
On Monday, Mar. 12 at 2:45 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a coroner’s investigation. The primary doctor was contacted and he was willing to sign the death certificate for natural causes. Family had arraignments made already. Close the case.
Oakhurst found bike rack
On Monday, Mar. 12 at 2:34 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Road 426 regarding a found bike rack for a vehicle. The reporting party requested a report for documentation.
Oakhurst missing person report
On Monday, Mar. 12 at 4:33 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of River Park Road regarding a missing adult. The reporting party had not seen her friend in three weeks. She requested a report. Refer to detectives for follow-up.
Ahwahnee report of fraud
On Monday, Mar. 12 at 5:10 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 45000 block of Sno Flake Lane for a report of a fraud. A report was generated and the case was closed due to lack of suspect information.
Oakhurst robbery, firearms and vehicle stolen
On Tuesday, Mar. 13 at 2:55 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of White Oak Drive regarding a report of a robbery. Two firearms and a vehicle were entered into NCIC as stolen. A report was taken of incident and forwarded to detectives for follow-up.
Oakhurst accidental discharge of firearm in hotel room
On Tuesday, Mar. 13 at 9:50 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a vandalism by a hotel guest. During the investigation it was determined an accidental discharge of a firearm occurred in a hotel room. A report was written for documentation purposes.
North Fork public health call
On Tuesday, Mar. 13 at 10:16 a.m. deputies were dispatched regarding a public health call. Upon arrival an investigation was conducted and a report was written.
Oakhurst missing person
On Tuesday, Mar. 13 at 11:38 a.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a missing adult. The reporting party had not seen the missing adult in five days. A report was written and the adult was entered into MUPS
Oakhurst indoor marijuana cultivation
On Wednesday, Mar. 14 at 8:38 a.m. deputies serve search warrant in regards to an indoor marijuana cultivation operation.
Oakhurst found property
On Wednesday, Mar. 14 at 2:49 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding found property that was located at the corner of Road 426 and Road 427. A report was written for documentation purposes. Case is closed.
O’Neals Coroner’s report
On Tuesday, Mar. 13 at 3:52 p.m. a deputy responded to a delayed Coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a Coroner’s referral number.
Bass Lake suspicious activity
On Wednesday, Mar. 14 at 11:53 a.m. a deputy was informed of suspicious activity that occurred in the 40000 block of Road 274. An incident report was taken for documentation. See narrative for details.
Coarsegold search and rescue of at-risk missing person
On Wednesday, Mar. 14 at 4:54 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding an at-risk elder missing person. A Search and Rescue was organized and the missing person was located. He was reunited with his family members.
Coarsegold found narcotics
On Thursday, Mar. 15 at 5:15 a.m. a deputy dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found narcotics. Report written, evidence obtained and case closed.
Coarsegold welfare check
On Thursday, Mar. 15 at 9:44 a.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a welfare check. The subjects in question were fine, however, a report was taken for documentation and will be forwarded to Madera County Adult Protective Services.
Coarsegold public intoxication
On Thursday, Mar. 15 at 3:04 p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to an intoxicated subject that was bothering customers. Upon arrival, the male was contacted and placed under arrest for public intoxication.
Oakhurst vandalism
On Thursday, Mar. 15 at 6:04 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 50000 blk of Bon Veu Drive in regards to a vandalism report. Several subjects were contacted at the residence and fresh spray paint was located on the inside walls of the residence. Two male subjects admitted to vandalizing the walls. The juveniles were turned over to their parents and the property owner was contacted. A report was written and submitted to the DA’s Office for prosecution.
Coarsegold disturbance, narcotics
On Thursday, Mar. 15 at 4:05 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a female causing a disturbance. The female was reported to be yelling. The female was transported to a hospital to be evaluated.
Oakhurst public intoxication
On Thursday, Mar. 15 at 10:36 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 blk of Highway 41 in regards to an intoxicated male. An adult male was located and arrested for public intoxication. The male subject was transported and booked into the Madera County Jail. A report was written and submitted to the DA’s Office.
Coarsegold found narcotics
On Friday, Mar. 16 at 6:20 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found narcotics. Report written and case closed.
Coarsegold burglary
On Friday, Mar. 16 at 10:38 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 30000 block of Yosemite Springs Parkway regarding a burglary. Report taken, evidence obtained and case closed.
Oakhurst aggravated assault
On Friday, Mar. 16 at 10:53 a.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a domestic violence assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, the victim was contacted. The male suspect had left the area prior to the deputie’s arrival.
Coarsegold missing juveniles
On Friday, Mar. 16 at 3:23 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Road 400 regarding a report of two missing female juveniles. The juveniles were located and returned to their parents.
Oakhurst theft of medication
On Friday, Mar. 16 at 5:20 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a theft of medication. The visitor is from out of state and requested a report for documentation.
Coarsegold report of accident unsubstantiated
On Saturday, Mar. 17 at 8:13 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a medical aid in the 46000 block of Chukchansi Road. It was initially reported that the male had been struck by a vehicle, however, the evidence did not support that. The involved parties were uncooperative.
Coarsegold theft of kitchen cabinets
On Saturday, Mar. 17 at 2:57 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to 43000 block of Road 415 regarding a cold theft of kitchen cabinets. The possible suspects’ location is unknown at this time. Case to be closed.
North Fork report of a missing person
On Saturday, Mar. 17 at 3:47 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a phone report of a subject reported missing in the Arnold Meadow area.
North Fork mental health evaluation
On Saturday, Mar. 17 at 4:52 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the area of Road 200 and Hadley Road regarding a male swinging a bag at passing vehicles. The subject was placed on a mental health evaluation hold and transported to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.
Coarsegold domestic violence
On Saturday, Mar. 17 at 9:35 p.m. deputies were dispatched for a report of a domestic disturbance. The parties were contacted and a female was arrested for domestic battery. She was booked at Madera DOC without incident.
Ahwahnee altercation, battery, public intoxication
On Saturday, Mar. 17 at 10:38 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 41000 block of Dillon Place in regards to an altercation involving several subjects. A female subject was arrested for battery on a cohabitant and public intoxication, and was transported and booked into the Madera County Jail. A report was written and forwarded to the DA’s Office for prosecution.
Coarsegold vandalism
On Sunday, Mar. 18 at 7:17 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 47000 block of Miwoc Ave regarding vandalism to a sign. The reporting party requested documentation.
Oakhurst violation of domestic violence court order
On Sunday, Mar. 18 at 12:43 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding violation of a domestic violence court order. The victim requested charges filed. Refer to the DA’s Office for review of charges.
