Madera County Sheriff’s Local Log Through Feb. 18

MADERA COUNTY– Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Feb. 12 to Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018.

North Fork warrant citation
On Saturday, Feb. 17 at 8 a.m. a deputy cited a subject with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on the 32000 block of Willow Creek Drive.

Coarsegold narcotics
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 2:34 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino in regards to an intoxicated subject urinating in public. During the investigation an adult male suspect was arrested and booked for being in possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Case report was written and filed with the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.

Oakhurst subject with other people’s credit cards
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 7:31 a.m. a deputy conducted a vehicle stop at Road 415 and Penny Lane. As a result, subject was arrested for possession of credit cards in other people’s names.

North Fork danger to self
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10:08 a.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a public health call. A protective hold was placed and the subject transported.

Coarsegold theft of wire from cattle ranch
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10:26 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a cattle ranch at the back of River Knolls Road for a report of wire theft. An investigation was conducted and evidence was collected. A report was written to document the theft. Forward evidence to ID tech for processing.

North Fork theft
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 12:22 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Church Street regarding a cold theft. A report was taken. Close the case.

Coarsegold indoor marijuana cultivation
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 8:30 a.m. deputies served a search warrant in the 31000 block of North Dome Drive in regards to an indoor marijuana cultivation operation.

Coarsegold mailbox theft/vandalism
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 11:37 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to 29000 block of Glacier Drive for a report of theft/vandalism to a mailbox. An investigation was completed and a report was written

O’Neals family disturbance
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 3:37 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 46000 block of Road 200 for a family disturbance. Upon arrival an investigation was conducted and a report was written.

Oakhurst threats and shooting outside home
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 7:55 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 50000 Road 620 regarding a male suspect who was shooting a gun outside his home and threatened to kill family members. The male suspect surrendered and was later arrested. The suspect was booked into to jail without incident. Case forwarded to the Madera County District Attorneys office for charges.

Felony Arrest for Criminal Threats in Oakhurst

Coarsegold warrants citation
On Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 11:33 p.m. a deputy performed a vehicle check in the area of Highway 41 and Veater Ranch Road. An opccupant in the vehicle had several confirmed misdemeanor warrants out of Madera County. The occupant was given a citation for the warrants and released from scene.

North Fork assault
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 7:57 a.m. deputies responded to the 33000 block of Road 222 regarding an aggravated assault. Two subjects were in altercation and one subject was stabbed in the hand. The suspect left the scene before deputies arrived. Case pending identification of the suspect.

Suspect Sought In Stabbing At Gas ‘N Stuff

North Fork credit card fraud
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 10:35 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of Road 222 in regards to a fraud investigation. It was determined that a female suspect used a fraudulent credit card to purchase items. See narrative for details.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 3:05 p.m. a deputy was flagged down near the 49000 block of Road 426 regarding a vandalism that had just occurred. The suspect was placed in custody and booked. Report to be forwarded to the District Attorney for filing charges.

Oakhurst welfare check results in citation for possession of paraphernalia
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 2:59 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-49 in regards to a welfare check on a child left unattended. A deputy contacted the responsible guardian. The driver of the vehicle was cited and released on possession of paraphernalia. Case forwarded to DA office to file charges.

Raymond report of illegal marijuana cultivation
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 4:57 p.m. a deputy was contacted regarding a possible illegal cultivation of marijuana occurring on Road 600 in Raymond. Report is to be forwarded to the Detective Division for follow up.

Coarsegold report of domestic disturbance
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 5:44 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a domestic disturbance. There was no crime involved in this incident. This incident is for documentation only. Case to be closed.

Coarsegold missing juvenile
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 5:59 p.m. a deputy was contacted to respond to a report of a runaway juvenile. A report was generated and the juvenile was entered the missing juvenile system.

Coarsegold intoxicated subjects
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 1:04 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of intoxicated subjects. A report was generated and forwarded to the District Attorneys Office for prosecution.

Coarsegold found property
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 3:54 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of found property. A report was generated and the case was closed.

Coarsegold mail theft
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 8:11 a.m. a deputy was contacted by a citizen regarding mail theft. Report written, mail returned to the post office in Coarsegold and case closed.

Coarsegold found narcotics
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 8:31 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Liberty Drive regarding a citizen who found narcotics. Report written, evidence obtained and case closed.

Ahwahnee vandalism
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 11:43 a.m. a deputy responded to the area of Opah Drive and Harmony Lane regarding vandalism to an abandoned building. Report taken for information only.

Oakhurst warrant and surrender
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 11:07 a.m. the Madera County Sheriff POP Team was conducting warrant services in the mountain division. An attempt to contact was conducted in the area of Yosemite Lakes Park when the subject leg bailed from deputies and was not apprehended. He was later contacted via telephone and subsequently turned himself in to deputies at the Oakhurst Substation. He was arrested, transported and booked into Madera DOC for the warrant and obstruction.

Coarsegold found narcotics
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 2:38 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 35000 block of CA-41 regarding found narcotics. Report written, evidence obtained and case closed.

Oakhurst assault investigation
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 4:01 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to Indian Springs Road in regards to an assault investigation. A report was taken for documentation.

North Fork domestic disturbance
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to a call regarding a domestic disturbance. A report was generated future reference and the case was closed .

Coarsegold vandalism
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 6:42 p.m. deputies responded to the 45000 block of Road 415 in regards to a vandalism report. A female was arrested and issued a citation for vandalism.

Friant subject stuck in vehicle
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 6:49 p.m. deputies were dispatched to assist a subject who became stuck in their vehicle. An investigation was conducted and a report was taken. Case forwarded to the DA’s office for charges.

Coarsegold theft
On Thursday, Feb. 15 at 9:08 p.m. deputies responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in regards to a theft report. A report was written and forwarded to MSO detectives for follow up.

Bass Lake trespassing
On Friday, Feb. 16 at 11:41 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the area of Road 274 and Central Camp regarding trespassing. Deputy made contact with the reporting party. A report was taken for information purpose only.

County residents report assault by staff in San Diego nightclub
On Friday, Feb. 16 at 1:46 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the Oakhurst substation in regards to a courtesy report for the San Diego Police Department. Two Madera County residents report that they were assaulted by staff at a nightclub in the Gas Lamp District of San Diego. Report to be forwarded to the San Diego Police Department for further investigation.

Oakhurst felony warrant arrest and possession of brass knuckles
On Friday, Feb. 16 at 2:10 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 49000 block of Road 426 regarding suspicious person. According to the reporting party an unknown male was seen on the property. Deputies contacted the residents and arrested one male subject on two felony warrants out of Madera County and for possession of brass knuckles. Case forwarded to DA’s office for review of charges.

Raymond danger to self
On Friday, Feb. 16 at 3:19 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding an adult male who took possibly overdosed on medication and injured himself. The involved male was placed on a mental health evaluation hold. Case to be closed.

North Fork domestic disturbance
On Friday, Feb. 16 at 5:37 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a domestic disturbance. This incident is for documentation only. Case to be closed.

Coursegold narcotics found, owner contacted
On Saturday, Feb. 17 at 1:45 a.m. a deputy responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding found narcotic paraphernalia. The owner was found and contacted, then cited and released at the scene.

Ahwahnee domestic assault
On Saturday, Feb. 17 at 10:11 a.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a female eating rat poison and cutting herself. It was discovered that the male and female were in a physical domestic dispute.

Oakhurst domestic disturbance
On Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7:50 p.m. deputies responded regarding a report of domestic violence. It was determined that no crime had occurred. The subjects were separated and a report written for documentation.

Coarsegold report of domestic violence
On Saturday, Feb. 17 at 8:26 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a possible domestic violence incident. This incident was reported to have occurred over two weeks ago. Report to be forwarded to the District Attorney.

Ahwahnee surround and call out
On Saturday, Feb. 17 at 9 p.m. deputies responded regarding a possibly suicidal subject armed with a rifle. Deputies arrived and performed a surround and call out. The subject was detained without incident and it was determined that no crime had occurred. A report was written for documentation purposes only.

Oakhurst missing juvenile
On Sunday, Feb. 18 at 10:56 a.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a habitual runaway. A report was taken and the juvenile runaway’s info entered into the system. Forward the case to juvenile probation for charges.

Oakhurst vehicle stop, narcotics arrest, vehicle towed
On Sunday, Feb. 18 at 1:08 p.m. a deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the area of CA 41 / Golden Oak Loop which resulted in the driver being arrested for narcotic violations and a probation hold. The vehicle was towed. Forward the case to the DA for charges.

Raymond civil disturbance between neighbors
On Sunday, Feb. 18 at 12:24 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding tree scrubs being moved near the driveway gate by another neighbor. Deputy requests that this report be closed as this is a civil issue.

Oakhurst theft of bike and scooter
On Sunday, Feb. 18 at 5:10 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 regarding a theft of a bike and scooter. During there investigation, a bike was recovered at the scene that did not belong to the victim. There are no suspect(s) or investigative leads in this case. Case is closed.

Oakhurst theft of bikes
On Sunday, Feb. 18 at 9:39 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 CA-41 regarding a theft of two bikes. There are no suspect(s) or investigative leads in this case. Case is closed.
