MADERA COUNTY– Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Apr. 23 to Sunday, Apr. 29, 2018.

Oakhurst theft of gasoline
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 7:12 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Golden Oak Loop for the theft of fuel and a gas cap from a van. There are no suspect(s) or investigative leads in this case.

North Fork fraud
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 9:10 a.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding an ID theft packet. A report was taken.

Coarsegold false identification and attempted vehicle theft
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 10:56 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 47000 block of Skyline Ridge Road regarding a female subject who was caught breaking into a vehicle by the victim. The female subject was later located by deputies on the 46000 of Skyline Ridge Road. During the investigation, the female provided false identification to the deputies. The female suspect was arrested for providing false identification and
attempted vehicle theft. Case forwarded to the Madera County District Attorney’s office for charges.

Oakhurst attempted theft of a vehicle
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 11:10 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-49 for a report of an attempted theft of a vehicle. During the investigation, evidence was located and collected and a report was written.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 11:52 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 45000 block of Lauri Lane regarding a vandalism. No suspect or leads.

Coarsegold credit card fraud
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 2:41 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 43000 block of Werney Road regarding online purchases with stolen credit cards. There are no suspect(s) or investigative leads in this case.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 4:43 p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a subject who was out of control and destroying property. A protective hold was placed.

Coarsegold possible danger to self
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 5:12 p.m. deputies were dispatched regarding a possible suicidal subject. The subject did not meet the criteria for a 72 hour hold. A case was taken for documentation purposes only and may be closed.

Coarsegold danger to self
On Monday, Apr. 23 at 9:26 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a report of a male subject making suicidal statements. Subject was placed on a mental health hold and transported by ambulance to the Madera Community Hospital for evaluation. Report was written for documentation purposes.

Coarsegold appropriation of wallet
On Tuesday, Apr. 24 at 10 a.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding an appropriation of a wallet that occurred at the 32000 block of CA-41. There are suspect(s) or investigative leads in this case.

North Fork vehicle stored for expired registration
On Tuesday, Apr. 24 at 10:48 a.m. a deputy conducted a routine traffic enforcement stop in the area of Road 222 / Road 200. The driver was cited and vehicle stored for expired vehicle registration.

Oakhurst vandalism
On Tuesday, Apr. 24 at 11:04 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 49000 block of Chapel Hill Drive regarding a vandalism. There are no suspect(s), witnesses or investigative leads in this case.

Coarsegold mailbox vandalism
On Tuesday, Apr. 24 at 12:25 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the corner of CA-41 and Skyline Ridge Road for a vandalized a mailbox cluster. A report was written to document the damage.

Oakhurst warrant arrest
On Tuesday, Apr. 24 at 1:44 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-41 in regards to an intoxicated subject causing problems. The subject was contacted. The subject had an outstanding arrest warrant and resisted the deputy. The subject was arrested and booked. Forward the case to the Madera County DA for charges.

Oakhurst domestic violence
On Tuesday, Apr. 24 at 8:39 p.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a domestic violence call. The subjects involved were located and the male half was arrested and subsequently booked into the Madera County
Department of Corrections. The recommendation for this case is to be forwarded to the DA’s office for filing of charges.

Oakhurst narcotics citation
On Wednesday, Apr. 25 at 1:50 a.m. a deputy was on duty and contacted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Hwy 41 and Harmony Lane. During the traffic stop the driver was identified and was found to be on AB109 parole out of Madera. The passenger, who was the owner of the vehicle, was under the influence of a controlled substance. A sheriff patrol K9 was called over to search the vehicle and located some controlled
substance hidden in the bottom of the flashlight and a meth pipe in a backpack. The driver was cited for being in possession of a controlled substance.

Coarsegold burglary
On Wednesday, Apr. 25 at 6:35 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane in regards to a burglary investigation. Upon arrival, the reporting party was contacted and the scene was searched for evidence. Currently, there are no suspect(s), witnesses or investigative leads.

Oakhurst missing person
On Wednesday, Apr. 25 at 8:11 a.m. a deputy responded to the 48000 block of Victoria Lane in regards to a missing adult. A statement were taken and report completed. The missing person was entered into Missing Person System. Case forwarded to detectives.

Raymond burglary
On Thursday, Apr. 26 at 5:51 a.m. deputies responded to the 39000 block of Road 415 regarding a live-motion alarm. Deputies arrived at the location and discovered that the rear window had been forced open. During the investigation it was determent that several items were stolen. A report was taken and completed.

Oakhurst found credit cards
On Thursday, Apr. 26 at 7:10 p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a found property report. Several credit cards were located by a citizen and turned over to the deputy. A found property report was written for documentation purposes.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Thursday, Apr. 26 at 9:27 p.m. a deputy responded in regards to a female subject wanting to harm herself. The female was determined to be a danger to herself and she was turned over to EMS. A report was written for documentation purposes only.

Coarsegold warrant citation
On Thursday, Apr. 26 at 10:56 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 32000 block of Picayune Creek Court regarding a trespassing subject. The subject was contacted and found to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The subject was cited and released.

Oakhurst purse recovered
On Friday, Apr. 27 at 5:01 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA-49 in regards to a stolen purse. Upon arrival, it is determined that the purse was located by an employee of a nearby business. The purse and its contents were returned to the owner.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Friday, Apr. 27 at 11:55 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 49000 block of Civil Circle Drive regarding a man stumbling and falling down near the bridge. The subject was arrested and booked for being intoxicated in public.

Coarsegold barn burglary
On Saturday, Apr. 28 at 11:50 a.m. deputies took a phone call regarding theft of horse tack from a barn in the 32000 block of road 400.

Ahwahnee vandalism
On Saturday, Apr. 28 at 2:41 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 44000 block of Metcalf Gap Road in regards to a vandalism report. Currently, there are no suspect(s), witnesses or investigative leads.

North Fork suicidal subject
On Saturday, Apr. 28 at 7:58 p.m. a deputy was dispatched in regards to a suicidal subject. A female was located upon the deputies arrival and she was found deceased. A report was written for documentation purposes.

Bass Lake domestic violence restraining order
On Sunday, Apr. 29 at 10:43 a.m. a deputy was dispatched regarding a violation of a domestic violence restraining order. A report taken forward to the DA for possible charges.

Oakhurst danger to self
On Sunday, Apr. 29 at 12:08 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 40000 block of CA 41 regarding a subject who was refusing to leave the establishment. The subject was a danger to himself and a protective hold was placed.

North Fork possession of players cards
On Sunday, Apr. 29 at 3:43 p.m. a deputy conducted a routine vehicle check in the Manzanita Lake area which resulted in numerous players club cards for different people being located in a subject’s possession. A report was taken and the cards were seized. Detectives were notified.

Coarsegold domestic violence
On Sunday, Apr. 29 at 9:34 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 bock of Lucky Lane regarding a report of a domestic disturbance involving a male and a female subject. The female reported she was assaulted and her vehicle was taken by the male subject without her permission. The female victim was granted an emergency protective order and her vehicle was entered into the system as stolen. A report of the incident was taken and forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
