Madera County Sheriff’s Crime Log Through Feb. 12

MADERA COUNTY – Following are details from the Madera County Sheriff’s Office of reports taken locally from Monday, Feb. 6 to Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017:

Coarsegold theft
On Monday, Feb. 6 at 7:05 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a report of a theft. This case has been closed, pending investigative leads.

Coarsegold warrant citation
On Monday, Feb. 6 at 7:05 p.m. a deputy had been dispatched to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane regarding a report of a theft. During the investigation of the theft report it was found that a female subject had three outstanding, out-of-county misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. The complainant was placed into custody and later released with a citation. This case has been closed.

Oakhurst coroner’s report
On Monday, Feb. 6 at 8:30 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 48000 block of Lindsay Lane regarding a coroner’s report. An investigation was completed and a report was written. The case was forwarded to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office Chief Coroner for final disposition.

Stockton sexual assault
On Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 10:11 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 30000 block of Seminole Drive regarding a report of sexual assault. During the investigation it was determined the incident occurred in the city of Stockton. This report was written as a courtesy report and is to be forwarded to the Stockton Police Department.

Oakhurst public intoxication
On Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7:41 a.m. a deputy was flagged down by concerned citizen at the 40000 block of CA-41. The citizen reported a person who appeared intoxicated on the side of the business at the 42000 block of CA-49 . The deputy responded and contacted the person reported. The deputy noted the person was intoxicated and unable to care for herself. The subject was arrested and booked into Madera County Jail.

North Fork missing person
On Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7:38 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 31000 block of Ridgewood Way regarding a missing adult male who was depressed. Report taken and male subject entered into the missing persons database.

Coarsegold family disturbance
On Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 5:28 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of Flying O Ranch Road regarding a family disturbance. A report was written for documentation purposes.

Oakhurst coroner’s case
On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 8:02 a.m. a deputy responded to a delayed coroner’s case with the primary physician stipulating to the decedent’s cause of death. This is a natural death case involving only a coroner’s referral number.

North Fork danger to self
On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 8:51 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to a welfare check in the 30000 block of Ridgewood Road. The patient was placed on a protective hold and transported to the hospital. Close the case.

Oakhurst assault
On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 10:13 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 48000 Lindsay Lane regarding an assault on a caregiver. The victim (caregiver) advised that a neighbor had assaulted her. She requested charges filed. Refer to the D.A.’s office for charges filed.

Bass Lake domestic violence
On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 11:23 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the area of Road 222/ Road 274 in regards to domestic violence. A report was taken and an emergency protection order granted. Probable cause declaration completed. Forward the case to the D.A.’s Office for charges.

Oakhurst coroner’s case
On Thursday, Feb. 9 at noon a deputy was dispatched to the block of 38000 Sierra Lakes Drive for a coroner’s case. Report taken for documentation. Sierra Chapel arrived for removal. Refer to Chief Deputy Coroner for review.

Oakhurst theft
On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 4:54 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 40000 Redbud Drive regarding theft of twenty dollars by a friend. The victim allowed his friend to come over, who stole the money. The victim requested no charges, nor did he want me to contact his friend regarding this incident. Refer report closed.

Coarsegold domestic violence restraining order violation
On Thursday, Feb. 9 at 4:48 p.m. a deputy responded to a dispatch call in the area of 46000 Lucky Lane for violation of a domestic violence restraining order. An investigation was conducted and an arrest was made. Suspect booked at department of corrections without incident.

Stolen Car Set On Fire In Oakhurst

Oakhurst theft
On Friday, Feb. 10 at 10:35 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 50000 block of road 427 regarding a stolen vehicle. There were no suspect(s) and a report was taken.

Coarsegold public intoxication
On Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1:32 a.m. deputies responded to the 46000 block of Lucky Lane for a report of an intoxicated subject. On arrival, a subject was contacted who was under the influence of drugs/alcohol. He was unable to care for himself and was arrested and taken to DOC for booking.

Coarsegold fraud
On Saturday, Feb. 11 at 6:02 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 46000 Lucky Lane regarding possible check fraud. The suspect had attempted to cash a stolen check. The victim advised the checks were stolen out of Fresno. The victim requested charges. Requesting this report be forwarded to the D.A’s office for charges filed.

Coarsegold warrant arrest
On Saturday, Feb. 11 at 6:02 a.m. a deputy was dispatched to the block of 46000 Lucky Lane regarding possible check fraud. The suspect had a felony warrant out of Stockton. She was arrested and transported to MDOC without incident.
