Madera County Department of Public Health Reports 3,339 Covid Cases

MADERA — Madera County has a total of 3,339 reported cases of COVID-19, according to the Madera County Department of Public Health’s (MCDPH) dashboard. There are currently 752 active cases, with 22 local residents hospitalized in Madera County. The MCDPH is reporting 49 deaths as of Aug. 21, 2020.

Reporting area D — which includes zip codes 93601, 93604, 93614, 93626, 93636, 93643, 93644, 93645, and 93669 — with a total population of of 40,031, has 218 reported cases.

There have been 35,102 tests results to date, with 31,763 negative test results.
