Madera Community College Announces First-ever Commencement

Ceremonies set to be in-person.

The newest community college in California, Madera Community College, is set to host its first-ever commencement ceremonies.

When: May 20 and 21, 6 p.m.

Where:
Madera Community College
30277 Ave 12
Madera, CA 93638

Madera Community College became the 116th college in California in July 2020. Campuses are located in Madera and Oakhurst.

“I am proud of our first-ever graduating class. They persevered to achieve their college degrees amid a global pandemic. This says a lot about Madera Community College students – their tenacity, their grit, their resilience,” said President Angel Reyna, MCC’s first college president.

Ceremonies are set to be in-person unless County Health orders changes.

Seating will be limited to two guests per student to ensure proper social distancing can be maintained.
