Madame Gadzinka’s Halloween Musical Extravaganza

OAKHURST — The elegantly undead Madam Gadzinka and her traveling sideshow family are making an appearance in town to perform a special pre-Halloween revue at the Golden Chain Theater, where they’ll reveal themselves for one weekend only. They have traveled all across America performing in small towns as they go — leaving each place forever changed, or so we have heard.

Skulls up if you love Halloween — we also hear this show offers a Las Vegas-meets-the-Walking-Dead kind of vibe. Or, they whisper, think of Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball in a zombie/undead kind of way: hi jinx, laughs and, well… brains?

Rumor has it that Madame Gadzinka and her entourage are looking or a new locale to call home… maybe the family will stay, forever and ever, in Oakhurst.

Written and directed by Teena Hagerman, the show is rated PG for a bit of creepiness — insiders say it’s fun for the entire family.

Come cast your eyes on the ghostly glamour of this special drop-dead engagement and help give the traveling troupe a warm foothills welcome! Get your tickets now or they’ll disappear right before your very eyes.  One weekend only, Oct. 26 – 28. Shows on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and a Sunday matinee.
