Locals’ Discount This Fall At Tenaya Kids Adventure

FISH CAMP — Aerial Trekking Parks are the latest craze in outdoor fun and Tenaya Lodge has opened one just for kids.

What’s more — the property is offering a special discount to families of Madera, Mariposa and Fresno Counties so they can be among the first to try it out this fall. Below is more information about the activity and locals’ special.

Tenaya’s new Kids Adventure Course is a fun, aerial trekking park comprised of a collection of challenge courses.

The course has six different elements including bridges, swinging logs and rope challenges. Each element is approximately 18-feet in length, with landing platforms between elements.

The course itself is five feet above the ground (perfect for the little ones who want a thrill without being too scary) and is designed to accommodate various degrees of difficulty, keeping progression in mind.

Each hour-long session is $25 ($20 for locals) and includes an instructor to guide children along the course, as well as safety equipment including helmet and harness. Participants must weigh between 30 and 100-pounds.

This fall, residents of Madera, Mariposa and Fresno Counties can visit Tenaya for the day and enjoy a 20 percent discount (with identification) on the course, plus same-day access to Tenaya’s pools from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a 10 percent discount on dining, retail and spa.

It’s a fun way to spend the day with family while enjoying the beautiful natural setting just outside of Yosemite.
