OAKHURST – Two area teenagers are on their way to the 2013 California Pepsi Youth Bowling Championships in Daly City this weekend.
Ryan Kramer, 14, Yosemite High Student, and Breanna Day, 16, who attends Minarets High School, both qualified for the championships with their scores at District #4 Finals, held on Mar. 9 -10 at Valley Bowl in Madera.
Breanna Day competed in the challenge for Girls under 20, with a scratch game of 474 pins. Ryan Kramer competed in the challenge for Boys under 15, scratch game of 533 pins.
The winners of the Under 15 and Under 20 scratch divisions at the State Finals in Daly City will advance to the 2013 North Pointe Jr. Gold Championships, July 13-19 in Detroit, MI. All others will earn scholarships.
