OAKHURST – Two local chains are offering freebies to active duty service members and veterans, as a show of thanks for their service, on Wednesday, Nov. 11, Veterans Day.
Denny’s Restaurant, located at 40650 Highway 41, invites active, inactive and retired military personnel to stop by for a free Build Your Own Grand Slam® breakfast on Veterans Day from 5 a.m. to noon. Military Identification is requested but not required, and other forms of ID may be used.
Also this Wednesday Starbucks Coffee, located at 40208 Highway 41 and also inside Von’s grocery store, offers active duty service members, veterans, and military spouses a complimentary tall hot brewed coffee (12 fl oz) all day long. No identification is necessary.
