Local Actress Shines in Hawaii Five-O Episode

NORTH FORK — Book it Dano! A local actress with a Hollywood-famous last name just filmed an episode of a popular television show on world-famous Waikiki Beach.

Actress Cassandra Hepburn, a North Fork resident, just wrapped up shooting an episode of the popular television series Hawaii Five-O. Hepburn was a guest star in Episode 10 of the current season (Season 10) on Hawaii Five-0, the reboot of the classic 1970s TV series.

Hepburn, 40, is the owner and youth pastor of Public Coffee House Youth Ministry in downtown North Fork.

On her Facebook page, she calls herself a humanitarian/actress and says: “I love to travel around the world and see what I can do to help make a difference in peoples lives.”

Born in the Philippines, Hepburn has pursued acting since she was a child. She made her acting debut at age 12 in Stephen King’s “The Stand” and has appeared alongside A-list movie stars like Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.

Her movie credits, according to her IMDb profile, include 2001 Maniacs, Even Money and Hell Ride.

Earlier in her career, Hepburn spent some time at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts taking courses in Classical and Shakespearean acting.

In the episode of the police procedural drama starring Alex O’Loughlin (Steve McGarrett) and Scott Caan (Daniel “Dano” Williams), Hepburn plays the mother of a character on the show named Junior. Officer Junior Reigns (Beulah Koale) is a former Navy SEAL and the newest member of the Hawaii Five-O cast.

No word from Hepburn yet on whether her character will have a recurring role on the show.

Hawaii Five-O airs Friday nights on CBS. The episode including Hepburn, which is a Thanksgiving special, is scheduled to air Nov. 29.
