FISH CAMP – The Little Ahwahnee Inn Yosemite, located 2.5 miles (94km) from Yosemite’s southern entrance, has just been awarded the “2015 Travelers Choice Award” by Trip Advisor.
This award names the inn among the top 25 Bed & Breakfasts in the United States and the only one named in California. In 2014, owners Grant and Beth Robinson were excited to receive the “2014 Award of Excellence” from Trip Advisor.
Today they are honored to be named for the Travelers Choice Award after opening their doors only 2 years ago, in 2013.
Out of 117 Trip Advisor reviews, 115 guests awarded Little Ahwahnee Inn Yosemite a 5-star excellent rating. Reading a few of the review headlines reveals immediately how guests loved their stay. For example,
“Memories created and will always be cherished,” says Dennis H. of Mission Viejo, CA.
“Little pieces of paradise” from Wendy, UK
“Better than the Reviews – if that’s possible,” by GKD60 of Sydney, Australia.
This custom chateau, crafted of rare heart redwood and native granite, features rich architectural lines that complement the natural landscape. Spacious social areas with vaulted ceilings and a large stone fireplace make for a unique mountain setting that begs guests to relax with a steaming beverage, as they immerse themselves in the serenity of the pine-scented forest surroundings.
Both native Californians with a long family history of enjoying Yosemite National Park, owners Grant & Beth Robinson returned to their home state after a one-year Alaskan adventure. The Robinsons determined to discover the perfect setting that they could share with others. Their search led them back to their roots in Yosemite.
Together, Beth and Grant have created the Little Ahwahnee Inn Yosemite to communicate their love for the park and to help others on their way to their own Yosemite experience. Grant & Beth look forward to another successful season in 2015.
