Oakhurst Library Hosts Authors Faire

OAKHURST – Attention, book lovers! If you are an author, aspire to be one, or you just love to read, you’ll be happy to know the Oakhurst Branch Library is hosting an Author’s Faire this Saturday, Sept. 27.

Offered in the Community Room, the Authors Faire is free to attend, and runs from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Writers, publishers, editors, illustrators and writers groups are expected to be there, invited by the library from the central valley, as well as the local area.

The general public is invited to meet the authors, buy signed copies of their books, and learn about writing and today’s publishing industry.

ReadingIf you’ve got a story in mind, say organizers, this is a good opportunity to talk to publishing professionals about your ideas.

For answers to questions about this special presentation, please call the library at (559) 683-4838 or visit Friends of the Oakhurst Branch Library.
