I am pleased to endorse Paul Hornick for the office of District Attorney. Not only am I voting for him, but I actively encourage all other qualified voters to do the same.
Citizens of Madera and I have had the last weeks to observe and evaluate the perspectives and agendas of the District Attorney candidates in this race but, as an attorney, I have long observed their practices and actions in our county.
Mr. Hornick is distinguished from other candidates by his honest approach and pragmatic insight into our community’s needs, his willingness to study the issues, and his active listening to concerns not only of law enforcement and peers.
A prosecutor’s duty is to uphold the highest standards of liberty and justice for all, as is embodied in our laws. Mr. Hornick has done and will continue to do this.
Mr. Hornick’s work in the District Attorney’s office has earned him the confidence of his colleagues, who support him. His direct, informed, and ethical approach to prosecution has earned him the respect of the majority of attorneys in Madera County. His work ethic is unmatched and his credentials all that could be wished. I will be proud to vote for him in the upcoming election.
