OAKHURST — Instead of sitting around the house on a fine winter’s eve with your dog and significant other (or maybe your dog is your significant other, in which case, good choice) and wondering, “whodunnit?” when a foul smell wafts through the air — try this!
Our own local jewel of a company, Golden Chain Theatre, presents a 1950s Hitchcock-style comedy thriller billed as an interactive event perfect for a night with friends, lovers and others. GCT murder mysteries have been quite popular and are said to guarantee some serious fun.
The show runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Feb. 16, 17, and 18. Dinner is catered by the Wild Fig Kitchen. The cost to attend is $47 per person.

A catered three-course meal is included in the ticket price. Treats for the palate include cocktail hour featuring corn fritters with pineapple chili sauce, mini-Ruben sandwich, “Diner Style” green salad, hot rolls and butter, “Market Street” meatloaf, homestyle mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh seasonal vegetables, and a delicious apple pie for dessert.
