BASS LAKE — Locals and visitors may want to kick off the summer season at beautiful Bass Lake this weekend, and start by joining friends for Jazz on the Lake. The much-anticipated tradition returns on Friday, May 26, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. as The Band Niteflite takes the stage, playing music in genres from jazz and blues to old school, Latin, country western and rock.
A limited food menu will be available, along with a full bar open. Doors open at 6:30 and music starts at 7 p.m. Tickets for shaded table seating on the patio are online only, while lawn seat tix will be at the door for $5. No tables or table service are included on the lawn, but blankets are welcome if guests prefer to stretch out on the grass.
No outside food or beverage will be allowed into the venue, except for wine or champagne, in which case a $15.00 corkage fee will apply.
Jazz on the Lake, sometimes known as (Not Just) Jazz on the Lake depending on the band, will be hosted by The Pines Resort on select Fridays throughout summer, with a closing concert on Labor Day weekend.
