Hummingbird Festival & Garden Party

COARSEGOLD – The day before the official start of summer promises to be delightful, especially for those who take themselves and their loved ones to the first-ever Coarsegold Hummingbird Festival on Saturday, June 20 in the Historic Village.

It’s a fully family-friendly event starting at 10 a.m. and running until 7 p.m.

Entrance to the Hummingbird Festival is free; some activities come with a fee.

Look for arts and crafts for kids, myriad vendors of delicious treats from Miner’s Grill and Zander’s yummy sandwiches, along with live music to make the day really special.

Master Gardener Valarie Howell will be on hand to answer questions. Organizers also plan a kids’ coloring contest, pony rides, and the chance to make some cool Father’s Day gifts.

Also in the Village on Saturday, June 20, the Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce sponsors a lovely Wine and Cheese Garden Party starting at 3 p.m., featuring tables decorated by artists in the Village. Wine will be served for $3 per glass with free appetizers available. Miner’s Grill chef Rob will be doing the wine and food pairing presentation.

The Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce is organized to promote the general welfare and prosperity of the area business community. For more information call Laura at (559) 760-0806.

Vendors can still join in the fun at Coarsegold Historic Village; just call Diane at (559) 683-3900 for spaces. See you in the Village!
